November 27. 2015 Totem Card of the Day – Desert Wolf Coyote

card 7 Desert Wolf Coyote 1122

Things may not be what they seem to be today, our vision and our understanding may be skewed. So we need to take a moment and simply take a breath…clear your vision, and dismiss previous thoughts and impressions. Then take another look, listen once again and then weigh out the options. coming off of a holiday shared with people and loved ones that we are not with every day can cause issue that is simply best left at the curb. If there are negatives that pop up, don’t carry the negatives forward, instead acknowledge the positives and let them give you the needed boost for the day.

There are enough negatives in the world… we need to take advantage of what is good and help promote changes that will assist us to all be better humans, better to each other and better to ourselves. So make good life choices, share positives with others and embrace the beautiful person that looks back at you from the mirror. Don’t let the shadows of the world hinder your inner soul’s light…

Desert Wolf also known as Coyote, as trickster, comes to us this day to share its wisdom’s, teaching us that it is sometimes a good thing to laugh at oneself in order to not get caught up in the pain that sometimes comes with life choices and lessons. It is about finding the balance of learning what life teaches and has to share, and when it is time to relax, enjoy and have some fun.

Desert Wolf teach us to be stealth and observe what we need to see, opening our senses to see the bigger picture of a situation. They speak of using distraction to change outcomes to more positive ones, by utilizing intelligence and good common sense, which often many do not take the time to stop and remember.

One of the most amazing skills they offer us is the use of voice and communication to let ourselves be heard, but to also warn that at times, when people use their voices it can be for hidden agenda’s that will not be in positive tones. So pay attention, listen closely so that you may understand and decipher what it is that is actually being said and stay adaptable to what must be done in the situation.

Desert Wolf tells us above all make sure we look at our own self, walk in positives not in deceptive or manipulative ways to get what you want. Look at what truly is motivating you, be honest with self and then stand in the Sacred Hoop to balance. Remembering what you do to respect self, will mirror to the world around you.

“I am Dedicated to Educating and sharing the Native culture with the World. It is not enough merely to teach the ways of our Elders. We must honor those traditions by sharing and educating the World. Inspiring others …Inspiring our Youth. Through the Music… the Arts…the stories…”

Card of the Day November 4, 2015 Two For One – Leopard and Rabbit

Card of the Day Nov 4

Well this morning the deck once again took on a mind of its own… or shall I say “Spirit” LOL! Well the Leopard and the Rabbit literally jumped out of the deck just before I began to count the Sacred Seven. So how does that relate to our day?  Well we need to face our Fears with courage and understanding, so we can allow the healing to actually begin, to move froward. We need to remember to take care of ourselves, make each moment count. Don’t wait for someone to call you to repair misunderstandings, take the initiative and do it yourself. That doesn’t mean you are weak, it just means you are inciting positive change. Don’t wait for someone else to clean up your messes… take the broom and do it yourself. WE all have the ability and are capable of it, just that sometimes we get lazy about it.

If we do the work instead of hiding from it, instead of waiting for others to step in…we will learn the lessons that are right in front of us. WE ARE STRONG ENOUGH…. WE HAVE FAITH… WE ARE GOOD ENOUGH… WE ARE WORTHY OF…

SOoooooo embrace yourselves in the imperfect and revel in the fact that as you embrace the imperfect you are setting balance to your own Sacred Hoops!

card 15 Leopard 1122
Leopard Steps in to tell us that it is time to allow the healing to move forward and occur, we are entering a time of rebirth, so open yourself to embracing it and allowing us to be moved ahead from the shadows to the light. We all have the capabilities to take care of ourselves, for we were born with them, physical, mental, psychic, emotional and spiritual. It is time for us to now do the work with those gifts we were bestowed with to bring about balance within our Sacred Hoops.

Leopard says it is time to accept who you are, your own spots so to speak, and use them all to your advantage. Utilize your strengths rather than your weaknesses or bad habits. Belief, faith and confidence of self will lead you to where you need to be, where you are supposed to be at the exact right moment.

Remember to work out things for all outcomes so that you like the leopard can change direction on a dime. Reach in and align the energy around you into stability and balance. To walk with the Leopard is to walk in the highest of spiritual and honorable way. It is about freedom of self and ego, time to tap in to our own psychic abilities, solve our problems with clarity and positives, and remember to shift into what is needed to move on the paths you are meant to travel for the highest good.

card 50 Rabbit
Rabbit reminds us all to remember we need to nurture our selves in order to allow our Spiritual growth to occur. It shares with us that we have all the tools needed inside of us if we just stop for a moment to collect ourselves and reach into that toolkit we all carry. By stopping for that moment and listening to that inner voice, it will give us a chance to strengthen our plans that are in motion, or review the ones we are contemplating.

Rabbit tells us not to be so quick to jump to conclusions, rather look at the larger picture and then move quickly as your instinct guides you rather than allowing fear to move you forward. Pursue your dreams, your goals with a little more adaptability, network with friends and family to help you get the results that are desired.

They also represent fertility, but of course it is up to us to make sure that that fertility shows up as positives such as creativeness, happiness, success and not negatives that we hold onto that eventually turn into fear, anger, bitterness, depression, illnesses.

Rabbit teaches that defending ourselves doesn’t always mean fighting back; it can also be accomplished by listening to what is happening in and around our Sacred Hoops and then using our intuition for the best possible outcome.

Rabbit has a short life so it also reminds us to take advantage of every waking moment for all life is Sacred. Don’t get stuck on the little things in life or life around you will pass by in a blink of an eye and you will have missed the journey.

October 9, 2015 Totem Card of the Day – Lizard

card 11 lizard 1122

Today speaks to us about being who we have not been, the best of who we are, holding to the highest standards, beliefs and goals. We have been hiding in plain sight recently, not willing to step out of the box and into a more positive place of reality. We have manifested what we have put out there to the Universe, and because we are holding fear of change, we have been timid to step into the unknown possibilities and revel in the outcomes we have created. Stop just blending in and embrace the greatness you are! Stop hiding and simply blending in, this is time you step up and define to the world just who you are and share all the wonderful and amazing qualities you hold!

Lizard steps up to share with us that we may be repeating old cycles, recreating things because we have been doing them so long, it feels more natural that stepping into something new or opening the doors to something that is unknown. It tells us although we are able to face our fears, we often do not want to deal with them.

Lizard also shares truths about “EGO”, that often as human we are ruled by it. So what may be needed at the moment is to take a step back and let out hearts take over. Our “EGO” is often all to ready to step in and rule, so take time to really look deep within what is resonating with our hearts before making decisions or saying something we may regret.

Lizard shares that we are able to use all our “senses” as they were given to us at birth, rely on them, hone them and watch for situations that may not serve us and then remove ourselves from them or to step into the positive ones we need to move with.

It is time to awaken what lies beneath, the unconscious mind that has been hiding things we have not wanted to deal with. Lizard will allow us to move them to the forefront so we can process through them and get rid of what is no longer needed and place us back to reality.

We are all human, we are all flawed and the Lizard teaches us it is ok to be this way. Release as they release a tail, what needs to be let go, then move ahead and regrow in more positive ways.

September 18, 2015 Card of the Day – Butterfly

card 27 butterfly 1122

AAaaaahhhhhh This day I was up as the world here sleeps, and as I stepped out into the night air I could feel the life around me. It was electric actually. Reaching and touching the very core of my soul. Breathing in the freshness of the day that was getting prepared to begin, with the smell of the fresh water in the air the gentle rain began to fall. looking down I saw a frog pop out of the lawn and head to the waters edge and smiled.

Stretching my arms out and taking in a breath for each direction, I lit some Sacred Sage and the smoke swirls began to rise. Creating images as it circled the air it reminded me of the journey we all take, the imprints that are left on us helping us to grow and push through change. The amazing feeling we get when we push through it all as if coming from the cocoon and allowing our wings to first feel the air. First gently flicking them and then with a movement that makes us soar to new heights of our manifestations of life.

Wow, just take a moment and think how magical and inspiring the world is. The balances that are present, the negatives that are pushing us to be better human beings, that make us strive to do good, to love and to reach beyond what sometimes is thought of as possible. To take flight… to Dream…to be….

The Butterfly
The Butterfly is connected to the elemental Air. It represents to many cultures the story of Transformation. It teaches us how to shift, change and move with whatever life brings to our paths. This helps us to learn how to work through events and situations that we encounter in our lives so that we can move through changes in what appears to be effortless with grace allowing our Sacred Hoops to come into and stay balanced.

Butterfly shares with us the gift of understanding that we all have purpose, we are all part of a grander plan, that we all exist to complete the balance needed in the world we live in. Without each of us inputting our energies, our purposes… other things would not come to fruition. Such as the pollen that is collected when they land in a grouping of flowers, when they move from place to place they assist the species in continuing to exist. We too are much like the Butterfly, for without each of us to contribute our efforts, our knowledge sharing it with our young people, with each other… ideas and cultures would eventually cease to exist.

Butterfly teaches us that we need to quiet our minds to hear the echoes of our souls, to look around you and appreciate all that is Sacred. Teachings are also about how we move through our lives transforming and constantly changing. As we are seeded into the womb where we begin our earth journeys growing and nurturing to prepare to enter the world, we are much like the Butterfly in the cocoon until we emerge slowly transforming into what and who we are to become.

Throughout our lives this occurs as we move through the changes in our life. So don’t fight the changes, rather honor the process of it as your Soul grows and expands into all that it can be… the beautiful soul that is an intricate part of the Human Race.

So today take time and honor who you are, remembering that you and all that you are is meant to be for a purpose and wonderful reason…. Take a moment to breathe, take a moment to revel in becoming understanding that you are important to all life!
