Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day – the Turkey

The Turkey represents Family, nurturing and care for self and others. It is about abundance and strengthening bonds. They represent renewal and teach us to care for others and through that we will imprint and open new avenues for positive growth and opportunity. But once again we must learn to honor that process.

No matter what others are setting the tone for, we must learn to listen to our souls voice to achieve our hopes, dreams and aspirations for the higher good. This is not always an easy thing to do because we are always being pressured to move with the masses, be a sheep and follow the herd. We must learn to take risk and allow our own voices to be heard above the crowds at times. For there are times to sit, watch and listen in order to learn how to move forward…and there are times to stand up and shout purpose and positives so others may wake. Turkey also shares with us the lessons of living harmoniously with the Great Mother Earth and all that dwells on her surface. To assist in keeping the balance between it all.

Turkey also speaks to us of making sure we keep our ego in check and that although we should be proud of self, love self, there is no reason to flaunt what we are or have to others. Honor the sacrifices we make, honor the family we have…and be thankful for All that is Sacred! Embrace your families and your community because in doing so our Humanity is fed in positives.

Card of the Day – White Buffalo

card 38 White Buffalo 1122
To start us off this week, the White Buffalo walks to our paths, reminding us it is a time that has been long over due… a time for us to begin again to Honor and Respect ALL Life as Sacred. It is time to bring about balance not only to our own lives, but to assist life and people around us by guiding them and setting examples to do the same. This is not a time for negativity, disrespect or judgments, rather a time we should be setting to the task of placing peace into our souls, into our lives so that again …Balance can be achieved.

Honoring the Ancestors and loved Ones that have walked before us, we need to wake up and understand that if we are standing in a pile of shit, it is because we have placed it there ourselves. No one else is to blame, we choose what comes into our Sacred Hoops… so be conscious of what we are doing, what choices we are making and what steps we are walking.

People ask us… What can we do to bring about Balance and Positive to our Lives again? Our Answer is simple, remember the teachings… Honor, Humility, Love, Wisdom, Respect, Honesty and Courage. Speak with the Creator…not only when you are in need but as you go about your day. and be thankful for what you receive. Keep it simple. Keep it all in perspective. Set your goals and stick to them, manifestation is there for you if you only stat on that path and believe in yourself and the powers that will assist you to make the world better for yourself and life in general. You are All Blessed… a fact that you often forget. It is time to Awaken!

White Buffalo shares with us that it is time to honor all that is sacred in and around us. It is about the power of Prayer. It is time to feed our souls, our spirituality. That in order to allow abundance into our lives we must walk the Sacred Path, but also be open to the fact that all life, all that has been shared with us no matter how small …how large, is Sacred.

The White Buffalo is connected to the teachings of the original people, the things that often are forgotten by us in this modern day world that is filled with material and greed. The White Buffalo warns us and gently nudges to remind us that we must not forget to be grateful, thankful, and take care of our Sacred Hoops.

To talk to the Universe and God Creator often, to share with others the simple positive things such as prayer, ritual, ceremony, traditions. To slow down so that we do not forget the lessons of old and where it is we come from. When we honor that process we will assist in manifesting our dreams, our goals in a more positive light. White buffalo will help to keep us grounded and on the right walk, allowing us to realize that when we are walking correctly the path is much easier to move upon.

Honor Self, Honor Creator, Honor All Life as Sacred.

Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day – the Frog

card 48 b Frog
This morning as I went outside to take Boone for his morning walk about, as I stepped onto the pathway it was covered in FROGS! This was awesome because I had just pulled the Frog card as the Totem Insight for the DAY! Funny how nature reflects back on life isn’t it?
So Frog has a lot to say obviously since there were so many at my feet , “Listen closely,” they said, “because it is time for renewal of spirit for all. All must learn to let go of how things have been done in the past and embrace a new way, a better way of being. .. both Spiritually and as Human.”

Frog steps in to teach us about cycles! We all have them, we all travel them whether we know it or not. Sometimes we wind up getting caught up in cycles that hold us back from being who we are supposed to really be, cycles that have negative impact on our growth as Humans. It may be outside factors that influence us, events, people or even our own emotions that throw us into this continuing loop that plays over and over again, because somehow we loose sight of the outside world and the lessons from the continued cycle.

So today it is time to step outside our selves… take a good look back and see into our very cores, then step back in and repair with TRUTH and Love what needs to be set in place to change the cycle to more positive steps so our growth as Humans, as Spiritual People can once again continue forward. This is not as easy to do as it is to write, believe me… been there done this, but the change is worth the effort I promise you.
So Step up and Transform Yourselves in order to become the best version of self… allowing your changes to be examples to others. Manifest your dreams and desires for your path in life!

The Frog teaches us of transition and transformation, supporting us as we walk through times of change. Connecting us with the our deepest emotions and assisting us with the process of cleansing our physical, emotional, spiritual selves to attain balance. The frog represents the cycles of life, birth and rebirth. If we take a glimpse at the Frogs own journey through life from a tadpole to the adult state it mirrors the many cycles of transformation and rebirth in our own lives.  It can assist us with the process of owning our own personal power. Recognizing it by cleansing ourselves of what no longer need and embracing with open arms what is now possible.

June 28 2016 Totem Insights for the Day – the Sacred Pipe

the Sacred Pipe
the Sacred Pipe
Today is all about honoring the Sacred Within. It is about taking time to offer gratitude and prayer for all the assistance the Ancestors and Spirit have offered us as we travel this road of human. Often the path will have obstacles and lessons that we must learn and share. Other times we must remember to center our heart songs so that they can once again resonate with the great Mother and all life that resides in and around our own Sacred Hoops.

Sit and allow your prayers and thoughts to rise above all the negatives in the world… let them dance across the universe as the smoke from the Sacred Pipe to swirl and touch Father Sky. Allow it to renew your souls purpose and release positives back in to your life and that of others.

The Sacred Pipe is not a symbol of things that are sacred, but it is the Pipe itself that is sacred. Not everyone is called upon to be a pipe bearer. The person who carries the pipe and practices the pipe ceremonies and traditions has a great responsibility to his brothers and sisters, his land and country and to the Great Earth Mother. They, the pipe bearer, does not ‘own’ the pipe that they carry. They simply carry the pipe until the time comes for them to pass it to the next bearer. The pipe bearer is given certain powers of sight from the pipe as well as an ability to heal and purify. Should the bearer fall from grace and become a liar, thief, neglected their duties when asked, or become deceitful, the pipe will repossess these gifts and then the possibility of misfortune for the former bearer may exist.

One should be ready to accept the responsibility of the pipe for it may make demands upon you. It will become your teacher and guide. It can also be your worst enemy if used wrongly. It is an honor for the person to be chosen as a Pipe Holder…it is to be respected and revered. If you are not called to be a Pipe Carrier, the pipe remains sacred, and for many of us we still use it on ceremony and prayer…Honoring those Sacred Traditions.

As the Sacred Pipe shows itself to us today and all days… let it be reminder to us all to be a kinder and gentler person, to accept others and extend the unconditional that we are all given by Creator God, and remember we are all no better than or less than one another.  Blessings this day and forward.

June 14 2016 Totem Insight for the Day – the Snake

card 33 Snake 1122
Today is about Snake Medicine and learning to balance it within our lives. So what does that mean to us as human? Well for today to speaks to making our way through the day by depending on all our senses and understanding that this movement is part of our human experience. To make sure we use our time wisely and not waste it on frivolous negativity. Things happen for a reason and it is up to each of us to decide how it impacts and imprints on our lives. So will you be bale to make lemonade out of lemons today, or instead will you taste the bitterness from it and allow it to sour your day? (Sorry no puns intended, lol don’t shoot the messenger. Spirit says what Spirit says) It is up to each of us to decide. Personally I prefer a good cold glass of lemonade… Cheers!

Snake Is a difficult teacher at times, and one that is not easy to master. Lessons that Snake brings with it are of life cycles and change, remembering as we grow we shed and transform into new energies and new experiences. Snake also teaches us about poison and that we need to be able to rid ourselves of the toxins can be placed within our Sacred Hoops. Don’t let the poisons kill us

Snake can be a hard teacher. His lessons involve a transmutation of the cycle of life, death and rebirth. Snake symbolizes this cycle with the shedding of his skin. We learn to the whole energy of life, the cosmic consciousness and have the willingness to experience anything without resistance. It is also about the poisons that we might take in. Those poisons can be eaten or ingested in some way but they also may be integrated into our lives. The goal is to not let the poisons taint our body or spirit.

Since Snakes can shed they teach us about the levels of our human, of our spirituality, our experiences. It is time to seek our inner knowledge before moving ahead with decisions. It is time to coil and go within to make sure we are well prepared before we strike out.

Snake also reminds us as it makes its way across the Great Mother Earth, to ground ourselves, to use our energy wisely and not to rely on primal instincts of lashing out. For at times it is more empowering to hold back and use that knowledge that energy in wise ways. At other times it is best to strike and seize the moment with a precision and quickness. Snakes often retreat long before biting defensively because they sense that it may cause consequences/damage to others and drain you of healing energy.

Snake is also very old and powerful healing medicine. Once harnessed, Snake will help you to position yourself carefully so that you will trust your gut when making important decisions.
