Numbers…. Numbers, Numbers!
People have been asking me lately what the numbers mean… I keep seeing the same pattern of numbers. What does it truly meannnnnnnn?
Well they are all around us and at times we see them in what many refer to as an Angelic Sequence such as 111 or 11 – 11, 333, 444 and even 666 (which by the way does not mean what people think it means, simply has become representative of evil over the centuries, when truly it came about by how the Greeks associated numbers to letters. Anywho that is for another discussion)
So why do we see them… it is my theory that we see them because we need to see them, we need to be reminded or aware of something that has or is occurring in our life. It is Spirits way of bringing attention to the fact we have help if we ask for it. Whether it’s the Angels, our Loved Ones who have passed, our Guardians or Guides it may be different for us all, but make no mistake they are definitely sending you a message. We are seeing the sequence of numbers to remind us that we are loved and often to wake up to the answer that is often right in front of us.
There are many books out there that will give you insight into what each number may mean, but this only represents man’s perspective, we have no way of knowing for certain that it means such and such. So rather than wondering about the sequence whatever it may be, I encourage each of you to think what message am I missing… what message am I needing and most of all why am I seeing it now?
Numerology and Astrology from all cultures are based on numbers and sequences, lay lines etc., but the simple sequences folks have been asking about …. Well, pay attention to things and you will figure out the answers. After all, if it was there was an easy button to push all the time, what would we learn by that? How could we grow into our own human potential? So remember there is no one right answer… nor are there wrong answers, whatever it represents to each of us is what it represents.
So with that… I hold you all in prayer and May the Creator bless each and every one of you.

Having grown up and lived in Detroit in the 60’s, when race violence, segregation, bigotry and hatred was evident ever day… having it effect my family up close and personal more than a few times, Watching but being part of a household that was all about love… and responded by teaching me no difference between people…just good people and bad people no matter what religion, color, political belief or gender.
Standing in cemeteries while they played taps for young men who were like big brothers to me had gone off to war in the name of fighting for our country and peace returning in a box… watching their Mothers and Fathers sob and having it effect our community on many levels…
Having seen the President and men of peace be assassinated and a country mourn… Continued wars being fought in countries I had never heard of… and then coming here to our own homeland as the Great Towers fell… I remember my Mother saying to me,,, I have lived to long… there are too many People being hateful…too much ugliness in the world. I will never forget that moment ever. Forever etched in my brain. We sat, we held each others hand and we both silently allowed tears to fall on our cheeks.
I thought that perhaps we had seen the worst… perhaps people would begin to learn from the past, from history. But as Humans we have not. We still continue to judge based on all things, to treat each other badly. In some ways I feel it may have gotten worse… in some ways now the people who once were judged are now worse, harshly judging others using the past as an excuse to behave badly. So much so they even judge and attack others within their own communities/cultures.
So today, as I sat under a total eclipse of our Grandfather Sun, I prayed that we may find our way back to our Humanity and Compassion. That instead of trying to erase the ugliness of our pasts… we instead learn from them but grow in positives instead of spreading and creating new negatives. I ask that there be an awakening and rise of the Peacemakers of the Rainbow Nation that many cultures predicted and that they in turn lead people to balance and peacefulness. For in each and every community… in each and every corner of the world they are there beginning to rise, our Peaceful Warriors.
So my wish and blessing for you all today is this, stop for a moment and realize you are NOT perfect, you will NOT always be right, that you will make mistakes and make them often… that You are No better than another… that setting aside EGO you will allow Love, Understanding and Compassion into your souls, into your lives. For to be unique, different, human and experience life in positives is why we are all here, if we all can embrace that thought, that ideal perhaps we will move away from our pasts and our sad history of negatives.
Blessings to you all upon this day and all those to come,

So yeah with the down pouring of rain we have had here at the cave over the past few months, my “Leetle Friends” the Ants have had to race to high ground, and they have been actually heading indoors throughout my house here and there to say, “Hey it’s high and dry in the cave can we stay?” Sugar Ants… teeny tiny little buggers not in the kitchen, just exploring how to stay high and dry without having to build an Ark! And of course as a couple were running across my desktop this morning, what card popped out of the deck? Yup the Ant, must have had a point to make eh? Hahahahhaha!
Ants they are quite remarkable actually… some might say even inspiring I mean have you ever just sit outside in a space and watch the ants? they are amazing creatures that allow nothing to detour them from the task at hand. They weather storms, heat, drought, people running over the tops of their homes with weed whips, fire, people stepping on them, and the list could go on forever. and when something occurs they all step in and assist and carry on. Wow we could learn much from the Ant if we would simply understand the lessons they share. A creature so small, coming together and working, assisting each other, for the common good… and accomplishing the task against all sorts of diversity! What a freakin’ concept!
The Ant teaches us that all good things come in time as we walk life in positives, holding to our truths, convictions in order to manifest our dreams into realtime. They also share through example how teamwork and clear focus can get the job done. Look at how tiny they are, yet working diligently and with purpose they always manage how to overcome the obstacles that are often set on their paths.
They also talk to us about community and working together to build a better being. Community is important, so perhaps this card is shown today for the fact we all need to remember that we all impact life and community just by being. So our actions can speak volumes, so choose to think before moving ahead in order to walk in positives for the best outcome.
The Ant can move mountains when it chooses to do so. They always have the eye on the prize so to speak. This is how we must think at times to get things done., to push through things that are difficult and at times weigh us down. We must call on that inner strength, and just simply get it done. It doesn’t matter what others think about us, we do not need to answer to their expectations… we simply need to believe and have faith that the world around us will have our backs, remembering that we are all born with everything we need in life to survive and live, we just have to open to the possibility of it all.
Grandfather Sun rises today as Summer Solstice greets us with blessings and the grace of giving all he has to share. The longest day of the year, the shortest night, and from this moment forward days get shorter and nights get longer. Inspiring Midsummer Night Dreams, it is a time the warmth of his outreached self kisses the ground we walk upon, encouraging young things to grow strong and unwavering. It is a time to be thankful and count our many blessings.
Grandfather Suns’ healing rays can gently warm our sore muscles and bones, reminding us to be grateful for the miracles of life… or it can be brutal and harsh showing us that we must care responsibly for life itself. Careful to shield ourselves from negatives of the world around us. Whatever the case may be as we continue our daily walks… take a moment to rejoice and soak up some energy today … as Grandfather shouts to us, “Hoka Hey Life is Good… Life is Sacred!”
Grandfather Sunis very important to all of us. The sun has been looked upon as the giver of light, heat, welcomed by the crops that are planted and all of the Plant People and bring about growth. The rays of the sun also represent the cardinal directions, North, South, East and West..
So as it enters our space here today and in days to come, Grandfather Sun brings with him the Creator’s Healing Grace. He shines and sends shadows and negativity away. The warmth it provides us is like a mother’s hug wrapping around us to say everything is gonna be alright.
Today have a bit of faith, open your hearts to experience the good in the world and let the shadows of negativity dissipate from the light of your soul. Feel what is strong and powerful in your selves and let that positive shine for the world to see. Allow your growth to continue, experience the strength from within that we all have, that although it may be being tested at the moment, still has what is needed to get through it all.
Breathe and feel his fingers upon your faces as Grandfather Sun freely gives us the power he provides unconditionally. Enjoy your day and don’t let dark clouds detour you from your goals!

****Grandfather Sun is another card from the Mitakuye O`yasin sub deck that will soon be available at my website!
Today the Red Tail Hawk swooped from the deck and over my head on the lake this morning, always love the nod from my brother and sister Winged Ones, bringing the message that we must allow our souls to steer us to the high road when it comes to things that are happening in and around our lives. We need to take the heated emotions and old baggage out of the equation in order to be in a more positive place. Honoring our self, others, the Creator and the Great Mother Earth and all that is Sacred. We need to open our hearts… our minds… our ears in order to hear the messages that are meant for us to grow into stronger, healthier and more balanced beings. Time to remember the sacrifices of our Ancestors… All of them no matter race or creed… it is time to step into thee Rainbow Warrior’s shoes and become better humans.
Red Tail Hawk shows up to help us understand the meaning in ordinary experiences if open and become aware of our surroundings. The Red Tail Hawk is awakening our souls so that we may begin the journey of our spirituality, preparing us for those Life Lessons that will soon show up.
Red Tail Hawks are messengers of the between, sharing insights and knowledge extended to us from the Ancestors and the world of Spirit. They speak to us of looking from a different vantage point and thus giving us a broader view of any given situation, helping us to not only be aware that a message awaits us, but also helping us to understand those messages.
Red Tailed Hawks are sacred and as they enter our presence, we must honor them by opening our minds and keeping them sharp while we look for wisdom and answers as we walk the human.
The Red Tailed Hawk’s red tail feathers distinguish it from other hawks, and remember that it does not receive their red feathers until at a later point in life after it has matured and experienced life around it. These feathers must be earned. The color Red represents Power and Energy that will lie dormant until it is awakened by our Souls as they walk and journey life and honor its own Sacred Hoop.

Wolves can represents Ying and Yang, good and evil, darkness and light…depending on who is talking about them.
They carry some of the most powerful medicine bringing with them the power to call instinct, intelligence, the appetite for freedom, and awareness of the importance of social connections. Wolf is teacher, igniting intuition from within. To walk with Wolf is a high honor… and one that many aspire to, desire to… but sometimes wait lifetimes for … except in glimpses and lessons as we walk the earth. The People have held wolves in the highest esteem for many more generations than I can count. In truth, they are many times seen as a sacred animal and featured significantly in ancient songs, dances and stories that have been handed down for generations. Their role in Native American life was a given and often revered and welcomed.
They play a big part in the ecosystem and delicate balance of the land and many of us have recognized that. Wolves teach us about the importance of family and how to care for that family. Some clans believed that wolves are spiritual beings that teach and share.
The wolf was also a spiritual and totem animal in the religions of the peoples. Wolves represent the symbol of freedom and individuality, yet also remind us we have a responsibility to the pack. Some religious beliefs attribute the creation of the earth in part to the wolf. It was believed that the power of a wolf would could help with the success of a hunt, bring a chief’s dead son to life or alleviate the pain of childbirth. The People and the wolf are part of each other.
Wolf and its medicine live harmoniously with the people…they hunt together, live together and their spirits are one. Wolf Spirit represents courage, strength, loyalty, wisdom and teacher of balance. Some of the stories that have been passed down often tell of the first ancestors being transformed from wolves into men.
Whatever they represent to each of us may be different, but the one thing I hold as truth is they are our teachers, our sisters and brothers… not something that should be controlled or hunted. They only take what is needed, they stay away from humans unless provoked…and we have taken all that is theirs when they and many like them have openly shared with us all. It is time for us all to raise our voice in protection of this magnificent animal and others like it…
Wolf is a very organized creature. It understands there is need for order and balance for harmony to occur with our Sacred Hoops. Wolf is regarded as one of the most powerful spirit guides of all for it represents teacher and lessons to be learned and shared with self. It speaks to us to seek counsel from people that you respect. To take a moment to step back and look for the true meaning from the issue you face. By doing so, you will be able to walk clearly ahead and do what needs to be done with the knowledge you can see it all clearly.
Although many think the site of a lone wolf means freedom but it does not. It instead represents that it is a time to look deep in oneself and find the balance that is needed in your own life that is lacking. For the wolf is meant to be in packs, in a community, in a family, with its mate. The times you see wolves on their own or isolated is do to unbalance that needs to reground and once again be in the circle of the Sacred Hoop.
The Wolf cry reminds us to stand our ground, remember we all need boundaries. It is about communication, answering the call and listening to the response. The Wolf an assist us to open and listen to the sound of others in order to understand better the situation. It is about having the strength of the pack, and your closest friends with you when you need them without questions.
Wolf is strongly connected to lunar cycles, so learn to move with that cycle and honor it in order to be at your best. They teach us to weed out what is the weakest and no longer serves us, so that new and better things will come our way.

This is a time of chaos, a time when people are seeking peace and calm within and around their lives and as many do… we struggle to find it because the world seems upside down at the moment. It is a very difficult time to try to stay positive, to put on that smiling face for many people seem to have lost their compassion and humanity towards life itself.
Even those of us that walk as teachers, story tellers, healers, people that are connected to “Spirit”, Seers and more, are experiencing difficult times trying to find balance in order to wade through all the negative clutter that the Universe is containing at the moment. Even people who do not do this for a living are experiencing emotions that they can’t quite put their finger tips on. So what do we do? How do we all get through it?
We start by breathing and then honoring our own needs and space as priority and no it is not selfish it is necessary. However as we move to this mode, we must also remember to check our ego’s aside and remember that “WE” can not control anything/anyone but our own actions and reactions to things in our lives. “WE” should also remember to not lay our personal garbage at others feet, it is our own responsibility to process it, not to blame and leave it at other peoples doorsteps. It is our place to be a grown up and own what is ours, good bad and indifferent.
Once we understand this we can move to the answer of it all… releasing our pain, anger and anxieties with a deep meaningful cleansing breath and then releasing it. Then as we take another deep breath allow the Love that surrounds each of us to tear the walls of anger, hate, bigotry and ego down so that all we once again hold in our hearts is Compassion and love for others and life itself. We must return to the Sacred and hold it as our banner for our way of life. We look to the world and send that understanding and love back out into it and continue to walk our own paths… in peace and calm.
So many today are walking and saying they are Teachers and Healers, yet they have no forgiveness for others or the world as they move forward. They have embraced ego and somewhere on the way they forgot they are not judge and jury for anyone’s actions, that perhaps their perspective has been warped by their own insecurities and have lost the point that we are supposed to set examples in order to truly walk that path we are on and must learn to not only forgive others but to love them with all the imperfect flaws that we are each born with. So many are assisting the worlds chaos, and yet if they would stop for a brief moment and look at the patterns that are in place they would see that the common denominator in every situation is how they choose to respond or handle situations. That is a hard slap to the ego to truly be able to see and move through it in order to once again be balanced and healthy in mind, body and spirit. But for each and every one of us at some time in our life …we all need to do just that.
So it’s time… take a deep breath and then release it. Allow the Sacred to shine into your Soul so that in turn it may once again light a path for others to see. Lead through example, but most of all lead with Compassion and Love. Blessings to You All!
