Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day the Wolf

Wolf steps in today to tell us to stay to the course… reminding us that we are always Teacher and Student, a duality that should always be welcome as we walk our lives. It sadly also says it keeps trying to remind us that our bonds with each other are important but seem to be forgotten. Instead the world has filled itself with mistrust, paranoia and anger. It is time to set all that aside and embrace each other as friends, family, community setting aside petty grievances so that we may once again attain balance within our Sacred Hoops.

We have allowed the paranoia and delusions of our own insecurities to makes us weak and shallow. This is not healthy as it continues to perpetuate that unhealthy cycle of the Lone Wolf. And in no way or circumstance is that either balanced or healthy. So it is time to take a step back and find out what inside us has led us into the shadows of lost hope…lost faith…lost trust that the Universe and God Creator will always have our backs even in what may seem to be our darkest hours.

Time to step outside of ourselves, breathe in some fresh air and howl at the moon to renew our very souls and remember our Ancestors Ways of Harmony,Truth, Courage, Respect, Love. Wisdom and Humility. Reclaim your Friends, Family and Community… Be strong in the conviction of Healing One’s Self, One’s very Soul.

The Wolf! They carry some of the most powerful medicine bringing with them the power to call instinct, intelligence, the appetite for freedom, and awareness of the importance of social connections. Wolf is teacher, igniting intuition from within.

To walk with Wolf is a high honor… and one that many aspire to, desire to… but sometimes wait lifetimes for … except in glimpses and lessons as we walk the earth.  The People have held wolves in the highest esteem for many more generations than I can count. In truth, they are many times seen as a sacred animal and featured significantly in ancient songs, dances and stories that have been handed down for generations.

They play a big part in the ecosystem and delicate balance of the land and many of us have recognized that. Wolves teach us about the importance of family and how to care for that family.  Many  believe that wolves are spiritual beings that teach and share.

Wolf was also a spiritual and totem animal in the religions of many cultures. Wolves represent the symbol of freedom and individuality, yet also remind us we have a responsibility to the pack. Some religious beliefs attribute the creation of the earth in part to the Wolf.  It was believed that the power of a Wolf would could help with the success of a hunt, bring a chief’s dead son to life or alleviate the pain of childbirth.  The People and the wolf are part of each other.

Wolf and its medicine live harmoniously with us…they will hunt together, live together and their spirits are one.  Wolf  represents courage, strength, loyalty, wisdom and teacher of balance. Some of the stories that have been passed down often tell of the first ancestors being transformed from wolves into Human.

Whatever they represent to each of us may be different, but the one thing I hold as truth is they are our teachers, our sisters and brothers… not something that should be controlled or hunted. They only take what is needed, they stay away from humans unless provoked…and we have taken all that is theirs when they and many like them have openly shared with us all. It is time for us all to raise our voice in protection of this magnificent animal and others like it…

Wolf is a very organized creature. It understands there is need for order and balance for harmony to occur with our Sacred Hoops. Wolf is regarded as one of the most powerful spirit guides of all for it represents teacher and lessons to be learned and shared with self. It speaks to us to seek counsel from people that you respect. To take a moment to step back and look for the true meaning from the issue you face. By doing so, you will be able to walk clearly ahead and do what needs to be done with the knowledge you can see it all clearly.

Although many think the sight of a Lone Wolf means freedom it actually does notIt instead represents that it is a time to look deep in oneself and find the balance that is needed in your own life that is lacking. For the wolf is meant to be in packs, in a community, in a family, with its mate. The times you see wolves on their own or isolated is do to unbalance that needs to reground and once again be in the circle of the Sacred Hoop.

The Wolf cry reminds us to stand our ground, remember we all need boundaries. It is about communication, answering the call and listening to the response. The Wolf an assist us to open and listen to the sound of others in order to understand better the situation. It is about having the strength of the pack, and your closest friends with you when you need them without questions.

Wolf is strongly connected to lunar cycles, so learn to move with that cycle and honor it in order to be at your best. They teach us to weed out what is the weakest and no longer serves us, so that new and better things will come our way.

Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day the Turtle

Today we have Turtle stepping in to share with us Wisdom’s of Old.  It is time we begin to remember and honor what our Ancestors have lived and sacrificed for us and the fact that they did not walk this earth so that we would hold onto anger and mistrust of each other, but rather for us to learn from those mistakes and have better foundations. To continue looking back will hold us static in one place. Standing in the shadows is not what we are meant to do, we are people of light and it is time we begin acting like it.

Although there is to be a balance between the light and dark in our worlds, it needs to balance as Day turns to night and back to day again … so must we do the same. We must use the time of darkness for rest waking to the light and moving forward in positives. Our Ancestors gave us teachings we must live by, walk with and speak to… for to do so is to honor them, and in turn honoring our own Sacredness.

Turtle teaches us that we need to remember to walk our paths slow and steady with determination, for if we do our goals will surely be met. They remind us that sometimes it is best to walk on solid ground strong and precise with each step, and at other times it is better to dive into the waters and swim with the current allowing life to assist us in that forward motion.

Turtle helps us to ground reminding us that slowing down and pacing each step will help us build confidence for as we walk at this pace, we will see more of what is being shared with us by the world around us… knowledge of the “Old Ones”. Slowing our pace, calming our breath, listening to our heartbeat, centering our spirit so that we are in balance and sync with the rest of our world.

Turtles remind us that what we need is provided for us, that we need to remember the beginning, the simple and honor all that is Sacred, for it is part of who we all are. Be humble, grateful and make the most of what we have and what we are offered.

Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day the Scarob

Very Old Energies enter our day today as the Scarab shows itself from the deck this morning. It is about outside influences, old and unresolved issues that we are carrying with us that we need to release. With the fast approaching winter months ahead of us, it is time to let it go. Repair what is needed to repair, release what is no longer relevant in your life so that only positives will follow in to the period of the Winter’s Grace.

Time to step in when needed and to walk away from where you are not, there is no shame in this. This is a huge lesson for me as well today, one that I have been struggling with for awhile, but what we have to realize is that even though we may totally and unconditionally love someone, something, staying and enabling a situation, a cycle, a way of life, etc. is not always the best thing to do. We show more respect, honor and yes even Love by letting go. This will allow other things to grow also in a more positive way… open yourself and other situation and people up to experience something that will bring joy and balance in.

the Scarab
There are aspects of change that are being pushed at you that are not necessarily about you and what is right for you. Look at the situation from all angles and look towards a compromise that works for all involved. The main issue is more than likely something that is ongoing and/or unresolved with family or friends that will require you to be part of even though you are in the background of things. You will act as a grounding influence. Remove yourself from the drama but instill yourself where needed.

The Scarab also brings you information of positive outcomes in your life for situations that may be present at the moment,. Stand your ground and soon all will be resolved with a positive and higher purpose.

So today I call to the Sacred Winds to carry our prayers, our thoughts, our needs …to Creator God and the Ancestors
To help us to walk in more positive manners,
Reaching to Embrace the Unconditional and knowing that we all are no better than or less than one another.
To be able to have strength of character in order to release aspects of our lives in order to allow new things to be given birth and grow.
So it is Said…So May It be So

Blessings to All

Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day the Squirrel

So who popped up in the cards this morning but the playful and ever persistence Squirrel! The Squirrel shares the importance of stockpiling and filling our life with the things we will need emotionally as well as physically, not only in the moment but in the days and times ahead.

Chaotic times means that more often than not we are scattered and running on empty, so we need to stop and take a breath before stepping into the next part of the day. Or as the Squirrel often does as it gathers its stores for the winter months, we will lose focus, lose our way to the goals we have set and like the squirrel won’t be able to find what we set aside for positive movement and nourishment to our soul. Thus the statement stop being a Squirrel! Hahahahhahaha Okay but seriously now stick to the task at hand and do not loose your focus today so that your efforts will not be in vain. We need to stay balanced, resourceful staying on course as we wrangle through the obstacles of the day!

Squirrel shows up to remind us we need to also balance our lives and have a little fun. We often get so caught up in life we forget to stop and breathe let alone relax and have a little fun in the process. We need to learn to not take life so seriously all the time. Work has it’s place in our life…but so does fun and enjoyment, and each of our souls need to be fed in order to be healthy.

Of course Squirrel also is there to remind us that playtime is not all the time. They remind us to be prepared and structured so that we are able to play at the end of the day! (No pun intended) But don’t over do it and use all that energy and positive vibe that you collected and managed to store up.

Squirrel also reminds us to take a look at our life and get rid of the clutter that has collected, whether it be actual stuff or emotional baggage. Deal with it and get rid of it, what good is it doing you other than adding stress to our life? The past needs to remain in the past… deal with it and let it go!

On the negative side of things, Squirrel can be easy targets and when they are they are trying to play catch up or trying to fit in making our selves into someone we are not … then we wind up spent on the side of the road. That is a high cost to pay and should be avoided.

Spiritual and Totem Insights of the Day White Buffalo

So today the Sacred White Buffalo comes to share insights with us all. When did it all start… The racial divides, the bigotry, the bullying, the hate… where did people begin to feel the right of superiority over others in matters of religion, family and social connections or other people lives for that matter? When did it begin? Since recorded time man has felt the need to dominate due to financial status, health, education and yes even religion. But here is the thing… is it smart to base a persons worth based on those things? And who gives any of us the right to make that kind of judgement?

All people sacrifice in some way to make it better for those who walk after them, there is always some kind of contribution to humanity. Yet today humans forget that fact. Don’t quote me religious or racial facts, for ALL races of man and ALL religions have been engaged in some form of destruction of the Sacred that we all are entitled to walk with. And that my friends as the White Buffalo stands its’ ground within the Sacred strong and reminding us of the sacrifice of the fallen men, women and children of the centuries is why and how we are all able to walk this planet today.

So Honor the Ancestors and loved Ones that have walked before us. Wake up and understand that if we are standing in a pile of shit, it is because we have placed it there ourselves. No one else is to blame, we choose what comes into our Sacred Hoops… so be conscious of what we are doing, what choices we are making and what steps we are walking.

People ask … What can we do to bring about Balance and Positive to our Lives again? The Answer is simple, remember the teachings… Honor, Humility, Love, Wisdom, Respect, Honesty and Courage. Speak with the Creator…not only when you are in need but as you go about your day. and be thankful for what you receive. Keep it simple. Keep it all in perspective. Set your goals and stick to them, manifestation is there for you if you only stat on that path and believe in yourself and the powers that will assist you to make the world better for yourself and life in general. You are All Blessed… a fact that you often forget. It is time to Awaken!

White Buffalo shares with us that it is time to honor all that is sacred in and around us. It is about the power of Prayer. It is time to feed our souls, our spirituality. That in order to allow abundance into our lives we must walk the Sacred Path, but also be open to the fact that all life, all that has been shared with us no matter how small …how large, is Sacred.

The White Buffalo is connected to the teachings of the original people, the things that often are forgotten by us in this modern day world that is filled with material and greed. The White Buffalo warns us and gently nudges to remind us that we must not forget to be grateful, thankful, and take care of our Sacred Hoops.

To talk to the Universe and God Creator often, to share with others the simple positive things such as prayer, ritual, ceremony, traditions. To slow down so that we do not forget the lessons of old and where it is we come from. When we honor that process we will assist in manifesting our dreams, our goals in a more positive light. White buffalo will help to keep us grounded and on the right walk, allowing us to realize that when we are walking correctly the path is much easier to move upon.

Honor Self, Honor Creator, Honor All Life as Sacred.

Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day the Elephant

Well gently nudging me today is Elephant, and yes I said gently nudging. It is a day we all need to embrace and honor Family. I love Elephants, they teach us so much in the way they manage relationships, family, and yes their little ones. So wake up and honor those you lean on, count on, vent to and perhaps show them back a little kindness today and share some positive emotion towards them and those that walk within your life circle!

Elephant to remind all of us how to define family. Family is often more than merely born into or shared genetics. And it is time to acknowledge our spiritual families and people that mean the most to us. it is time to look at self and remember where our loyalty should lie, who it is that supports us and is there effortlessly. It is time to get in touch with our inner child and our inner elder, for we have been taught much but due to the chaos of days, it has been often set aside.

So Elephant tells us to honor relationships, the ones that have imprinted on our souls… the ones we wish we coulda, shoulda, woulda… said or shown gratitude for and throw some tobacco, a prayer to the Sacred Winds for what was not. Balance the debt even if it is in what seems like a small way.

Elephant brings with it determination and loyalty that are needed to walk through our human. Not to give up easily for if we stay the course smartly, our goals will be met. Elephant reminds us all we must look after ourselves first before can help others, and to follow our instincts they will show us where we need to go and what we need to nourish within our souls.

Family is an important aspect and to remember to focus on the very young and our Elders, it is our duty to care for both. Loyalty is another trait the Elephant brings out in us, reminding us ever so gently that sometimes we need to remain loyal in spite of difficult circumstances in all situations, for all will be made clear as we move ahead in positive steps.

Elephant communicates with its family intuitively and suggests that there is a memory that is being held on to tightly that needs to be let go, let go of the past, it is what has assisted us to this point, but needs to remain in the past.

Elephant is reminding us about gentleness, commitment, and communication for ourselves and all relationships in and about our own Sacred Hoops. That all of it is powerful medicine much needed as it helps us to keep relationships healthy.

Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day the Beaver

So the Beaver stops in this day to teach and remind us that we need to look at our life and see what needs to be built, what needs to be rebuilt and what needs to be taken down allowing the waters and energy to once again flow through. Beavers are quite adept and seeing what is needed in situations and adapting their lives to make things work better, adding more positives and expelling the negatives. They also share with us at times it’s just better to let them go and move on rather than trying to rebuild leaving the old behind us. Then at other times their determination will also show through on things they will not let go of, and even though humans may tear it down, Beavers know what is best and will continue to rebuild knowing the lessons have not all been learned.

Beaver tells us to step outside the negative cycles and break them by moving through them in positive ways, respectful ways, with humility and gratefulness… the way our Ancestral Teachings were given to us… Keep to the honest and loving ways we were taught as young ones, find your compassion and humanity again and make it stronger.

Beaver shares that it is time to build our dreams into reality teaching us that we need to remember to rely on self, but in the process not to loose the sense of family that leads us to being an important part of community. Traditions and culture both help to build the strong foundations of who we are as individuals.

Do not be afraid to push and build your dreams into reality. Beaver reminds us to be creative, use the strong foundations that have been laid into place and grow from that. Expand your thoughts, your abilities enabling you to grow into a new sense of being. Clear the old and replace it with newer and stronger ties reinforcing who we are and where we came from.

Beaver will teach us if we allow it to, when to build up the walls to protect and rest, but also teaches us to remember to clean and change as we need to, flowing with the patterns of life. Adaptability so we do not get forced into situations we should not or do not want to be in. Always look at alternatives for there are many ways to go about things.

Beaver reminds us that it is good to be creative, to stay busy …but to also remember teamwork gets the job done quicker at times. So stop for a moment to catch your breath and look at what is going on in your life at the moment, and move forward in a positive way, utilizing all the tools and assets that have been placed in front of you, remembering that all parts of life are needed to do so.
