Today is all about honoring the Sacred Within. It is about taking time to offer gratitude and prayer for all the assistance the Ancestors and Spirit have offered us as we travel this road of human. Often the path will have obstacles and lessons that we must learn and share. Other times we must remember to center our heart songs so that they can once again resonate with the great Mother and all life that resides in and around our own Sacred Hoops.

Sit and allow your prayers and thoughts to rise above all the negatives in the world… let them dance across the universe as the smoke from the Sacred Pipe to swirl and touch Father Sky. Allow it to renew your souls purpose and release positives back in to your life and that of others.

The Sacred Pipe is not a symbol of things that are sacred, but it is the Pipe itself that is sacred. Not everyone is called upon to be a pipe bearer. The person who carries the pipe and practices the pipe ceremonies and traditions has a great responsibility to his brothers and sisters, his land and country and to the Great Earth Mother. They, the pipe bearer, does not ‘own’ the pipe that they carry. They simply carry the pipe until the time comes for them to pass it to the next bearer. The pipe bearer is given certain powers of sight from the pipe as well as an ability to heal and purify. Should the bearer fall from grace and become a liar, thief, neglected their duties when asked, or become deceitful, the pipe will repossess these gifts and then the possibility of misfortune for the former bearer may exist.

One should be ready to accept the responsibility of the pipe for it may make demands upon you. It will become your teacher and guide. It can also be your worst enemy if used wrongly. It is an honor for the person to be chosen as a Pipe Holder…it is to be respected and revered. If you are not called to be a Pipe Carrier, the pipe remains sacred, and for many of us we still use it on ceremony and prayer…Honoring those Sacred Traditions.

As the Sacred Pipe shows itself to us today and all days… let it be reminder to us all to be a kinder and gentler person, to accept others and extend the unconditional that we are all given by Creator God, and remember we are all no better than or less than one another.  Blessings this day and forward.

June 22 2016 Totem Insights for the Day – the Hummingbird

With all the energy that has been swirling around us all, it is no surprise that the Hummingbird stops in today to share messages with us! Many of us out there have been experiencing all kinds of craziness and major energy shifts. it seems to be the nature of the world we live in lately. These shifts are often happening faster and sometimes moment to moment and causing us all to be a bit off balance (or at least to feel like we are on a boat that is rolling with the water as we try to regain our footing!)  So we need to remind ourselves when this occurs to stop…take a breathe before we take another motion forward, rest a bit and save our energy.

So many negatives in our world today, and many we are not in control of. So the best thing that we can do is to control how we react to it all. Calm our minds, say a prayer or send out positive thoughts and try to keep our heads above it all. If we can manage that…we will be surprised just how many good things will occur in the ripple outwards.

Hummingbird, symbol of resurrection, rebirth as they live each day and as the blanket of night spreads over the lands, these little birds become lifeless and appear to die. As Father Sun begins to awaken the world, his warmth touches the tiny wings and this little bird once again rises to the tasks of the day. Teaching us there is time for work and then we must have time to rest in order to revitalize our souls, our bodies and our minds.

Hummingbird brings the lesson of Joy with them, teaching us to remember the Sacredness of all life and how fragile it is. To remind us we must keep our Sacred Hoops in balance and honor our paths by remembering to slow down at times to feed, to gather strength and energy. To move in positives to attain our dreams and goals but do it in efficient ways, smart ways, thought out ways. Hummingbirds do not walk or hop, their feet are tiny and do not function as other birds, this is so they can be more efficient than other birds at their tasks. So with them they bring efficiency and teach us adaptability as well.

They show themselves when it is time to live your dreams in Joy and Happiness, understanding that the Universe, Creator God and the Ancestors are there to help us all, but you have to have Faith that it will come to pass.

June 16 2016 Totem Insights for the Day – Seahorse

Today the Seahorse pops up from the deck and it speaks to us of the fact Life is not always easy to walk on some days, many things can often show up on our paths creating obstacles that prevent us from moving forward as we want to, or as I prefer to say … sometimes “Life” gets in the way. It’s at those times we need to push through it all one step at a time and in doing so we learn just what we are made of. It may take us looking at something with a fresh set of eyes, or even a different perspective. But get it done we will, for we have to… life doesn’t magically stop and wait for us all to catch up… so today get it done… take a moment and remember you have got this and the Universe, God Creator and the Ancestors are right there alongside of each of us helping us to move forward and get through it all!

Seahorse brings for us lessons in persistence as we move towards our goals. Leave our stubbornness at the door and all things will move much smoother with our inner circles. It is time to take a closer look at things and get a fresh view of all things in your Sacred Hoop, physically, emotionally, spiritually for something has been out of balance and it is time to reset with purpose and unconditional.

Seahorse also speaks of serving others and caring for their needs, but while we are in that role we must not forget to nurture self as well. Slow down and do not over exert yourself for that will not assist in anything or anyone if you are too tired and/or worn out. Our purpose is not to serve others and loose ourselves in the process; it is about the Sacred balance.

Life is all about perspective and we must remember to approach with open eyes, mind and soul to stay balanced within the positives. Seahorses teach us how to move in and out of situations seamlessly, teaching us how to move through the currents of life and emotion and stay in a healthy state while doing so. Be Bold! Adapt when the situation calls for it! Be colorful and enjoy Life! most importantly allow your souls to flow with the energy and waves of life around you allowing it to feed your spirit!

June 15 2016 Insights for the Day – Uriel Winds of Change

Today I was brought to a bit of Change and had a visit with the Spiritual World and shared thoughts from Arch Angel Uriel…so perhaps a little trippy for some, but none the less needed to be shared for the sake of others…

This morning as I sat watching Grandfather Sun rise in the east… I listened to life around me emerging to a new day. a day that can be filled with Hope, Love and Positives if we so choose. In that hushed calm I could hear my own heartbeat attuning to the cycles of Mother Earth and all that is Sacred, once I it did so I became aware of the Angles and all their power, all their love that they bring to us as human through the spiritual world. The messages came pouring through from loved ones that have past this human journey, from our Ancestors that have walked before us, from the creatures that once roamed this place… and the thing that struck me in that very moment is that we each have the ability to choose our paths. We can walk in negatives or we can choose to walk in positives. What we do not often understand is that in order to have balance, there will always be both… as dark is to light… love to hate… happiness to sadness. we all will come to know the two sided way of things, for how we come out on the other side of our dealings with that balance will determine our strengths and weaknesses, our lessons so to speak of the human life we walk.

We are here to experience it all they whisper to me, good…bad…indifferent… For it is all part of the human experience. Yet again it is choice how we choose to walk, whether we choose to be strong or weak, sick or healthy in both body and spirit…. it is all choice. We need to understand when we say the ability to heal, we truly do have that ability… we can attract more negative to us or have positives bring about healing and good health. Does it happen in a second no for it did not take a second to breathe in and birth the negatives within, yet with persistence and faith… the outcome will be what it is meant to be.

We also each have purpose, lessons we need to learn and share, life experiences that we come to share in, the Spirit World refers to it as the “Human Experience” or often with me they call it “Walking the Human”. Whether we choose to believe it or not we are revered as hero’s, held in awe by the beyond for having the courage to to emerge here in the physical world and be.

We often get held hostage by our own thoughts of fear, sadness and hopelessness and in those moments if we can spark what we know in our souls to be truth, truths that we brought with us … we can survive anything. Just remember to make each moment matter, understand that every breath we take in is a miracle of life. Every experience we live is part of our journey.  Are we each Immortal, yes and no… for the vessels our souls are housed in will tire and die, yet our spirit will continue to the next part of our journey…with that said, each of our souls will imprint on the world we exist in and leave a signature. But again, whether it will be positive or negative is all left to choices we make.

So as in the painting above, it is a time of the Winds… Winds of Change to begin and renew old and bring about new ways of thinking, new ways of being in our human shells. it is time to bring balance to our own Sacred and in doing so assist the world around us into doing the same. Be instruments of Balance, instruments of Peace and Faith… Hope and above all else, be instruments of Unconditional Love. Judge not, mend the cracks within your own lives…build a better now…Allow the Joy of this life to light the way to Balance.

I hope you all take a moment to digest the words shared above, perhaps even reread them as I have and allow it to assist each of us to a better walk this day and in days ahead. Blessings to you All…

June 14 2016 Totem Insight for the Day – the Snake

Today is about Snake Medicine and learning to balance it within our lives. So what does that mean to us as human? Well for today to speaks to making our way through the day by depending on all our senses and understanding that this movement is part of our human experience. To make sure we use our time wisely and not waste it on frivolous negativity. Things happen for a reason and it is up to each of us to decide how it impacts and imprints on our lives. So will you be bale to make lemonade out of lemons today, or instead will you taste the bitterness from it and allow it to sour your day? (Sorry no puns intended, lol don’t shoot the messenger. Spirit says what Spirit says) It is up to each of us to decide. Personally I prefer a good cold glass of lemonade… Cheers!

Snake Is a difficult teacher at times, and one that is not easy to master. Lessons that Snake brings with it are of life cycles and change, remembering as we grow we shed and transform into new energies and new experiences. Snake also teaches us about poison and that we need to be able to rid ourselves of the toxins can be placed within our Sacred Hoops. Don’t let the poisons kill us

Snake can be a hard teacher. His lessons involve a transmutation of the cycle of life, death and rebirth. Snake symbolizes this cycle with the shedding of his skin. We learn to the whole energy of life, the cosmic consciousness and have the willingness to experience anything without resistance. It is also about the poisons that we might take in. Those poisons can be eaten or ingested in some way but they also may be integrated into our lives. The goal is to not let the poisons taint our body or spirit.

Since Snakes can shed they teach us about the levels of our human, of our spirituality, our experiences. It is time to seek our inner knowledge before moving ahead with decisions. It is time to coil and go within to make sure we are well prepared before we strike out.

Snake also reminds us as it makes its way across the Great Mother Earth, to ground ourselves, to use our energy wisely and not to rely on primal instincts of lashing out. For at times it is more empowering to hold back and use that knowledge that energy in wise ways. At other times it is best to strike and seize the moment with a precision and quickness. Snakes often retreat long before biting defensively because they sense that it may cause consequences/damage to others and drain you of healing energy.

Snake is also very old and powerful healing medicine. Once harnessed, Snake will help you to position yourself carefully so that you will trust your gut when making important decisions.

A fitting card that is turned this day, for the worlds turmoil to begin to heal. For all Humankind to accept each others differences without fear, Violence or hate…

I call to the Winged Ones… carry our words to Creator to be heard upon this day of Sorrow…
Today we send our wants, needs, wishes upon Your wings to be shared and manifested. Ride the fierce winds to soar with the Ancestors in the great above within the grasp of Father Sky. Allow the up winds of energy we send to you to swirl through your feathers, enabling You to soar ever closer to the Creator’s Breath.

You are Sacred, You are revered, You are all that we send with you in honor and gratitude, our Messenger to the above and beyond. We are blessed by your offering of service, of insight and wisdom’s on this day and all days. We thank you for all that you bring to share with our souls as they resonate with yours. Blessed be on this and all days to come.

We ask as we stand humbly upon the Great Mother, that you assist us in allowing our tears to wash away the pain and heartaches of this world. That you escort our loved ones who have passed so that they arrive safely to the next part of their journeys and bask in the acceptance and greetings of the Ancestors. We kneel in debt to you for being our confident and keeper of all that is in our hearts.

As we walk through our days, if we take that moment to stop and open our eyes… we will see the Winged Ones. Always fluttering about, ready and willing to take our deepest thoughts and carry them to the Creator’s ears to be heard. They share with us a deep knowledge of the Great Mother Earth and all that walks her surface and flies within Father Sky’s grasp. They are Sacred, so much so that many tribes and clans have taken them as their guides. From the Woodpeckers, the Buzzards, to the Egrets, Hawks and the Majestic Eagles… all play a role in teaching us things we need to understand and embrace as we walk the Human.

Revered as bringers of messages and symbols of change, we await your insights that will allow us to walk in a more positive, balanced and healthy way. for you are closest to the Creator’s ear, Messengers of our Ancestors and Relatives passed to the other world our souls thrive and continue to grow in. Creator is within all things, so help us to open our eyes and souls to be and do what we are meant to, what we have all agreed to when we entered this space.  Know what is clearly in our Soul’s intent and assist us in awakening it, re igniting it on order to be the mighty Warriors of Peace you have asked us to be.

Soar to the heavens our beautiful Winged Sisters and Brothers… soar and be blessed as you carry our burdens to be released to the Creator and Universe allowing us to begin to heal and move forward in positives.

Owl brings both Magical and Spiritual with it’s presence. always Sacred to me, and to be revered by all.  Owl shares with us the Great Mystery and all that is to be understood in life as we walk the human path. Teaching us to be open and see with wonderment the life that is around us, interacting with us, sharing with us, part of us even in the smallest of ways. In return showing us how we can impact it all in return. To keep our eyes open in even in what we may perceive as dark times, for that glimmer of hope and light to shine through.

Remember to fly beyond and look at the larger picture so better to plan ahead how to approach situations, people or the journey itself. It teaches us to use our intuition and deep connections with wisdom that has been seeded deep within our souls. If he has showed up in your life today… perhaps you need to look closer for the hidden truths.
