Spiritual and Totem Insights for Today – Grandfather Sun

Today Grandfather Sun has an important reminder for us all… we need to take time to allow good things to grow, have patience even when we do not understand what is happening or why. There is always a Universal plan in place. Take pause to feel the breeze on your skin, look to the sky and understand even though you may not see the Sun he is still there. Just like answers we are searching for… we may not see them right away, but they are there.

Having Faith in the Universe sometimes isn’t as hard as having Faith in one’s self. So remember we are all worthy, we all have abilities, we all have time to make right choices, we all can give and feel compassion, respect and use events in our lives as teaching moments. So stop and take a breath, and then be a positive in a rather negative world.

Grandfather Suns’ healing rays can gently warm our sore muscles and bones, reminding us to be grateful for the miracles of life… or it can be brutal and harsh showing us that we must care responsibly for life itself. Careful to shield ourselves from negatives of the world around us. Whatever the case may be as we continue our daily walks… take a moment to rejoice and soak up some energy today … as Grandfather shouts to us, “Hoka Hey Life is Good… Life is Sacred!”

Grandfather Sun is very important to all of us. The sun has been looked upon as the giver of light, heat, welcomed by the crops that are planted and all of the Plant People and bring about growth. The rays of the sun also represent the cardinal directions, North, South, East and West..

So as it enters our space here today and in days to come, Grandfather Sun brings with him the Creator’s Healing Grace. He shines and sends shadows and negativity away. The warmth it provides us is like a mother’s hug wrapping around us to say everything is gonna be alright.

Today have a bit of faith, open your hearts to experience the good in the world and let the shadows of negativity dissipate from the light of your soul. Feel what is strong and powerful in your selves and let that positive shine for the world to see. Allow your growth to continue, experience the strength from within that we all have, that although it may be being tested at the moment, still has what is needed to get through it all.

Breathe and feel his fingers upon your faces as Grandfather Sun freely gives us the power he provides unconditionally. Enjoy your day and don’t let dark clouds detour you from your goals!

Spiritual and Totem Insights of the Day the Medicine Wheel or Circle

So this work week starts out with the Medicine Wheel and it is all about attaining personal balance! It is time to place our own selves into positive perspectives and balance. The energy we must gravitate to and harness is available to us, we just have to want to work with it.

The world around all of us churns in negatives and chaos, but we must remove ourselves from that state of mind and feed our souls things that will help us grow as humans in ways that will be positive and life fulfilling. So reach out and grab onto positive things, act instead of reacting, teach the right way of things instead of being angry, and most of all be able to look deep inside and see our flaws and arrogance at the things we are perhaps being driven by ego to do or say, instead understand we all need to reconnect as human and understand that we are all different with different perspectives of life to contribute.

So remember the circle represents life ever changing ever evolving… no beginning, no end rather growth and cycles that we must learn and carry forward in balance. We have a Spiritual Self, a Physical Self, an Emotional and Mental Self, and all of it combines to create our Human Self. So let’s remember to balance that in order to be our Best Selves!

So the Circle has meant similar things to many various cultures throughout time and continues to do so. So no matter what culture we are standing in, what Spiritual Side we utilize in our lives, we are more alike than perhaps many are willing to admit.

Whether it is the Winged Ones, the Four Leggeds, the Plant People, the Crystal and Rock Keepers, the Swimmers or Creepers we all evolve together in the harmony that we were born to. The four lines in the Wheel speak to us of the four directions, the four colors to the cultures and the four parts of our human, the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual being. To understand the Medicine Wheel is to understand self.

This is what we need to understand, that the strengths, the creative, the spiritual, the faults, the imperfections all lie with in each of us. They are all part of who we are, constantly evolving. As a wheel is circular and continues in a constant state of birth to death constantly moving through change, so are we. To understand that about ourselves is how we are to attain balance.

To understand that we are All Connected that we All imprint on the world, the energy that we exist in is to understand the nature of how things co-exist. That there has to be opposites for balance…light and dark. rain and heat, night and day, birth and death… All a intricate part of the Human experience.

Ask yourself what is it that you need to day to add to the positives in your own life, what is it you need in order to set your mind to in order to keep the negative at bay? So today, look to yourself and think about how each word, each action, each breath you take is part of a bigger Hoop, then think what it is You need to do to put your own Circles into a place of balance with all that is Sacred honoring who you are meant to be.

Many Blessings to You All,

Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day the Beaver

So we begin the work week with the Beaver showing up in the 7th spot… sharing with us how important the relationships that we form in our lives are and how they influence how we operate in our daily lives, what we focus on. WE have definitely have got strong energy that will effect us once again as Mercury goes retrograde, sigh… but if we choose to focus on the positives that are around us we will push through all that wonky energy.

Beaver indicates instead of worrying about what we cannot control, look towards what we can. by revelling in the good people and situations that are already in our lives. My Grandmother used to say, “It takes a village.” and if we stop to think about it, it truly does. WE need our communities, our friends and family members to be able to experience life, to help us get through things, to sustain us. So give credit where credit is due and pay attention to what works best for us. Extenuate the positives and let go of the negatives. Beaver pushes us to clean house so to speak and stop dwelling on things and people that we can not fix.

We are moving towards the end of the year, make every moment count. Be thankful for every blessings and allow compassion and humanity to flow without thought. Embrace the foundations we stand for as human beings on this planet… for the betterment of all of us no matter where or who we all are.

Beaver tells us to step outside the negative cycles and break them by moving through them in positive ways, respectful ways, with humility and gratefulness… the way our Ancestral Teachings were given to us… Keep to the honest and loving ways we were taught as young ones, find your compassion and humanity again and make it stronger.

Beaver shares that it is time to build our dreams into reality teaching us that we need to remember to rely on self, but in the process not to loose the sense of family that leads us to being an important part of community. Traditions and culture both help to build the strong foundations of who we are as individuals.

Do not be afraid to push and build your dreams into reality. Beaver reminds us to be creative, use the strong foundations that have been laid into place and grow from that. Expand your thoughts, your abilities enabling you to grow into a new sense of being. Clear the old and replace it with newer and stronger ties reinforcing who we are and where we came from.

Beaver will teach us if we allow it to, when to build up the walls to protect and rest, but also teaches us to remember to clean and change as we need to, flowing with the patterns of life. Adaptability so we do not get forced into situations we should not or do not want to be in. Always look at alternatives for there are many ways to go about things.

Beaver reminds us that it is good to be creative, to stay busy …but to also remember teamwork gets the job done quicker at times. So stop for a moment to catch your breath and look at what is going on in your life at the moment, and move forward in a positive way, utilizing all the tools and assets that have been placed in front of you, remembering that all parts of life are needed to do so.

Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day the Grouse

So today the Grouse pops up in the seventh spot telling us to keep our heads down and watch how we place our feet today…just enjoy your own space and self. Celebrate you… the energies are still racing and causing a bit of havoc after the full intense moon last night, so be mindful that people and situations may be a little erratic.

Keep the peace the Grouse tells us by just smiling to yourself and concentrating on what you have had in place to get done. Sometimes it is best to put a bubble around ourselves, sort of like a snowglobe and just maintain our own world where we can be ourselves. So perhaps today after work is said and done, put on some music and Dance!

Grouse reminds us of what is Sacred within our own Hoops. It reminds us to stand in our own power, to drum and ground with the great Mother Earth, to experience our own heartbeats of our souls. Speaking to us and whispering that we need to dance and honor our own spirits, allowing the joys that are in life to enter and filling our own Sacred Hoops with the positives that are needed in the moment and beyond.

Grouse dances in circles, speaking to us of cycles that we walk through on our paths, from birth to death transitions and on to rebirth. We all experience these, from the moment we take our first breath, it is called change. So the Grouse asks that we embrace those changes… and dance to the drumbeat of your own soul!

Stand in your own power, revitalize your spirit, your human… dance and create, manifest what it is that you need to walk a more positive way on your own path. Don’t worry about what others are thinking or doing… concentrate on your own energy as you dance and place yourself in harmony and balance with body, mind and spirit.

Listen and hear as Grouse shares with us today and beats it’s wings and stomps the ground in harmony with all that is Sacred!
Aho!

Please Feel free to share these and other posts from my site!  They are here as tools to teach us about mending Our Sacred Hoops… and bringing balance to our lives!

Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day the Turkey

The Turkey stops in today in the seventh place to remind us we need to take care of ourselves before we can take care of others, that is a necessity otherwise we wind up depleting ourselves and then not being able to be there at other times when we are needed. We are taught as a society that we must give to others first and place ourselves last… but that make no sense when we stop for a moment to think about it.

Take for example metaphorically speaking that is… that we are a well on our property and people come to us all the time for water. The good people that we are we continue to give our water supply away not stopping to hold some for ourselves and our families. Then we are left, unable to help anyone else because we can not even help ourselves. We need to learn to ration our energies… holding something back and that is not selfish that is smart. For then as we are taken care of we are strong enough, well enough and balanced enough to figure out other ways of assisting others.

So today… Turkey advises us to take care of self…feed from your wells of creativity, thoughtfulness, kindness and compassion and set to your life a balance that is needed by setting ego aside and not worrying about others expectations, but rather focusing on your own.

Turkey shines the light on we need to prepare for the upcoming seasons so they will be more stress free than stressful! How do we do that??? Well we can start by settling in and getting done what needs to be done. Once that happens then we can go about assisting the people within our own Life Circles… stop being distracted by outside noise!

The Turkey represents Family, nurturing and care for self and others. It is about abundance and strengthening bonds. They represent renewal and teach us to care for others and through that we will imprint and open new avenues for positive growth and opportunity. But once again we must learn to honor that process.

No matter what others are setting the tone for, we must learn to listen to our souls voice to achieve our hopes, dreams and aspirations for the higher good. This is not always an easy thing to do because we are always being pressured to move with the masses, be a sheep and follow the herd.

We must learn to take risk and allow our own voices to be heard above the crowds at times. For there are times to sit, watch and listen in order to learn how to move forward…and there are times to stand up and shout purpose and positives so others may wake. Turkey also shares with us the lessons of living harmoniously with the Great Mother Earth and all that dwells on her surface. To assist in keeping the balance between it all.

Turkey also speaks to us of making sure we keep our ego in check and that although we should be proud of self, love self, there is no reason to flaunt what we are or have to others. Honor the sacrifices we make, honor the family we have…and be thankful for All that is Sacred! Embrace your families and your community because in doing so our Humanity is fed in positives.

Spiritual and Totem Insights of the Day – Turtle

Today Turtle plays a big role for us to prepare for the days energy and people that revolve around us. Presented this morning in the place of the 7th card… it reminds us that sometimes it is best to pull back into our shells in order to protect what is ours… to keep us safe. Much of today will be a odd mixture of push/pull energy that will often keep us off balance. So rather than trying to figure it out, simply use what is ours to use and pull back to safety from it all.

Turtle says keep it low key today… be cautious and don’t interfere with the outside world, just stay within our own boundaries and we will remain in balance and get things done. So keep an even pace and don’t rush into things that may get us into trouble.

Turtle helps us to ground reminding us that slowing down and pacing each step will help us build confidence for as we walk at this pace, we will see more of what is being shared with us by the world around us… knowledge of the “Old Ones”. Slowing our pace, calming our breath, listening to our heartbeat, centering our spirit so that we are in balance and sync with the rest of our world.

Turtles remind us that what we need is provided for us, that we need to remember the beginning, the simple and honor all that is Sacred, for it is part of who we all are. Be humble, grateful and make the most of what we have and what we are offered.

Within the Seven Grandfather Teachings the Turtle was present to ensure that the laws would never be lost or forgotten. On the back of a Turtle are the 13 moon, each representing the truth of one cycle of the Earth’s rotations around the sun. The 28 markings on her back represent the cycle of the moon an of a woman’s body. The shell of the Turtle represents the body real events as created by the Higher Power, and serves as a reminder of the Creator’s will and teachings.

TRUTH is to know all of these things. Be true to yourself and your fellow man. Be able to speak the truth. This is considered the final and last teaching because to live this teaching, one must achieve and understand the first six teachings. By being honest with those around you with your feelings and behaviors; by loving yourself and others; by respecting others with what they say and do; by being humble – knowing that everyone around you deserves your respect as you theirs; by being brave when facing new challenges and by accepting your own and others wisdom.

Spiritual and Totem Insights for the Day the Scarab

Today the Scarab tells us to dig a little deeper…push a little harder and get it done. Perhaps the day will be filled with introspect… perhaps it is needed to understand self and what we need to discard in order to move forward and let positives in. Whatever it may be, honor the process and understand the reasons behind it all.

Sometimes we hold on to the pain and memories because it is how we have put ourselves into a cycle… a cycle of negatives and things that will continue to take a toll on us. So Scarab reminds us that the lesson is long gone, the people that may have affected us in negative ways are in need of removal, the toxic stuff that eats away at our true self needs to be flushed from our system. So understand says the Scarab that we ARE Strong enough to get it done we simply have to believe it and do it.

Scarab also reminds us we often do not like change even if it is from something we are seemingly stuck in …cycling continuously through… because we are comfortable there even if it isn’t a healthy place to be in, it’s better to us than our fears of the unknown step or place, or so we make it seem. ut today is the day we need to stop putting off moving to a healthier space… today is the day we embrace the changes… cause whether we know it or not, change is constant even if we do not recognize it. So dig deep and get it done!

Scarab
There are aspects of change that are being pushed at you that are not necessarily about you and what is right for you. Look at the situation from all angles and look towards a compromise that works for all involved. The main issue is more than likely something that is ongoing and/or unresolved with family or friends that will require you to be part of even though you are in the background of things. You will act as a grounding influence. Remove yourself from the drama but instill yourself where needed.

The Scarab also brings you information of positive outcomes in your life for situations that may be present at the moment,. Stand your ground and soon all will be resolved with a positive and higher purpose.

So today I call to the Sacred Winds to carry our prayers, our thoughts, our needs …to Creator God and the Ancestors
To help us to walk in more positive manners,
Reaching to Embrace the Unconditional and knowing that we all are no better than or less than one another.
To be able to have strength of character in order to release aspects of our lives in order to allow new things to be given birth and grow.
So it is Said…So May It be So

Blessings to All
