During a Stressful Time… A Visit to Ghost Dimension

Today I am experiencing guilt at being unable to assist in the Healthcare arena that I worked in for so long. I know it is not logical or possible, but I am still feeling this emotion… as I know others are riding the roller coaster of emotion as well. I pray for all of us to ground and feel less stress…

I also know that as a Spiritual Minister of sorts, I must help in whatever way I can to assist other people… I am and always will be a Caregiver. Having the ability to see and hear Spirit, talk with the creatures of our world has been a thing that I have been able to do since I was a kid, not that I have always wanted to do it… for I have not. It can be sometimes scary, stressful and oh yeah did I say annoying at times? But through it all as I have been reminded of by a few of my friends it is what I am supposed to do.

So much is happening around our world at the moment however the one thing that I find is on the forefront of issues is people’s inability to spend more than ten minutes with self. Now mind you I know some folks are, but many more are sitting at home crawling the walls not knowing how to cope. I never thought I would be one of the “Old People” looking at people younger than myself and saying out loud, “Calm Down and Breathe”. Read a book, listen to music, cook real food… sit outside on your porch, your yard or on your driveway to get air… if it is cold out put a coat on, if it is muddy and wet out so what if your kids get dirty, let them play that is what washing machines and showers are for. Listen to your children, they are just as confused as you are, remember to teach them through example. Have a movie night and make popcorn, or cuddle in bed and read with them.

The other day I laughed out loud when I saw a friend of mine post, “Told my husband today… never thought at 71 I would be cooking from scratch again.” Yet there are many out there that do not even know what that means. Well kids, grab a cookbook or set the computer in front of you and look up a dish Chefs out there everywhere giving demonstrations on how to make a dish, or simply grab a recipe online and get to trying it out. Just remember this, while you are doing all this you are connecting with yourselves, your families and creating positives rather than negative emotions. You are in fact creating a new normal…. a place of healing and self exploration.

So with that all said I am heading over to Ghost Dimension tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 p.m. to sit and touch base with you all… answer a few questions, do a few reads and perhaps provide a little bit of healing for us All!

Come Join Me @ https://www.facebook.com/officialghostdimension And while you are over there…hit that like button and show them a bit of love also you can catch their amazing shows on Amazon Video, You Tube, Pluto Tv all for free!

My Totem Teaches Me… with bear Medicinewalker

The Sacred Teachings of the Red Tail Hawk!
Clear and open Your Vision. Look for the confirmation you are seeking, and be open to the lessons being shared.

Red Tail Hawk helps us to understand the meaning in ordinary experiences if open and become aware of our surroundings. The Red Tail Hawk is awakening our souls so that we may begin the journey of our spirituality, preparing us for those Life Lessons that will soon show up.

Red Tail Hawks are messengers of the between, sharing insights and knowledge extended to us from the Ancestors and the world of Spirit. They speak to us of looking from a different vantage point and thus giving us a broader view of any given situation, helping us to not only be aware that a message awaits us, but also helping us to understand those messages.

Red Tailed Hawks are sacred and as they enter our presence, we must honor them by opening our minds and keeping them sharp while we look for wisdom and answers as we walk the human.

The Red Tailed Hawk’s red tail feathers distinguish it from other hawks, and remember that it does not receive their red feathers until at a later point in life after it has matured and experienced life around it. These feathers must be earned. The color Red represents Power and Energy that will lie dormant until it is awakened by our Souls as they walk and journey life and honor its own Sacred Hoop.

When Spirit Opens the Door to the Past We Should Listen

Something most people do not know about me is that ever since I was a child, I have worked with model kits of all sorts but mostly figures… toy soldiers and historical figures. I also create dioramas to set them in. All from scratch as my Grandfather taught me by example, you see it was one of the most magical things he could have ever shared with me as a child. It was a window into the past and history. It was a way to make things come alive. Little did he know he would influence me through this for the rest of my life. I have a passion for history, love to hear and learn back stories of people and events, and it is also the way I learned to sculpt and paint.

My Grandfather was an avid model hobbyist that created most of his pieces from scratch. He had toy miniatures of soldiers, horses, fireman, fisherman just to name a few. He collected them and hand painted them. He would create scenes for them to be displayed in… even railroad trains in towns. It was a thing back in the day, something that is long becoming a lost art I suppose, I even recall one of my early memories of my Uncle and walking down into his basement with my dad at one time and seeing the vast display of the wild west he had there all set in period work. It was amazing and let a person’s imagination run rampant. So it is no surprise I suppose that I love doing the same… creating and putting together kits from history to tell a story with them, To remind myself and those that see them of snapshots from history.

I have had plenty of time on my hands since my surgery on my spine last July as it has been a journey through healing to say the least, so I have actually gotten back to painting and creating some of the kits I have gotten over the years but never seemed to make time to work on. Still I was surprised last night when I heard remember the book Indian in a Cupboard? I thought of course I do one of my favorite book series ever, (and I discovered them as an adult) loved them all and then they came out with the movie I was thrilled. It was toy miniatures that come to life and teach children about life, well the stories also teach us all about life. Who could resist that right? It brings out the kid in us all… toys that come to life! (This was also way before Toy Story)

So why the story today, well you see I have been working on some historical pieces and thinking about what do we really know about history other than what was written by people in control at the time right? So when I begin working on a Civil War Soldier I can’t help but wonder what it must have been like fighting against possibly friends or family members… how scared and frightened soldiers must have felt running through smoke filled battle fields of WWI or WWII or other wars. They were kids some as young as 18 years old running into battle seeing their friends shot and killed right next to them. How do we honor them all in today’s world? As they fought for all of us that are alive today. No matter what side, what country… it was war. All the privileges we have, the freedoms, the petty little things we bitch about… all seem very small if we stop to think about it. But we should all take a moment to honor in our thoughts and give them thanks for the sacrifices they made to try and make this world better in their opinions, in their own ways…

I got up this morning and thought yeah no not going to write about this… then I found one of the soldiers I had painted and finished on the floor and apart. No clue how it wound up on the floor as it was in a spot the cats could not reach, simply was. Made me look all over as well for all the parts so much so I laughed out loud and asked my Grandfather f he had to make it so difficult for me to reach all the pieces scattered on the floor… I got it is important. All of it, the history, the things we are shown when we are young, our Elders who are walking, breathing history nooks. Engage with them, talk with them, ask them what life was like. Put your cell phones down and listen to what they offer you, watch what they teach us through walking with them in their lives.

Go online or better yet go to a local hobby store and buy a model … put one together with a child and teach them what the story is behind the kit. Doesn’t matter if it is Batman or the Creature from the Black Lagoon, a Mustang or a Corvette, a plane or a boat, better yet get a train and build a town. Teach them history, imagination and art. I guarantee it is time well spent.
Thank You Grandpa for stopping in and giving me a Spiritual hug I needed, I love you to the Moon!

Blessings to you All,

The Story of the Snow Moon

I thought it was fitting since Grandmother Moon has been ever so playful of us as of late, keeping us on our toes and eyes wide open during her reign in our night skies, that I once again revisit the story of the Snow Moon. It has long been a favorite of mine and a story that delights the children as well as the child that dwells within. Yet it also holds valuable lessons of community, trust and working together. So I hope you can enjoy the story as much as I do telling and sharing it. Perhaps it will shine a little light in your life and illuminate your world to a better understanding of things….

As it was long ago and far to the north… winter nights were very long, dark and bitter cold. Nights were so long, dark and cold that all the Four Leggeds and their friends could barely gather enough food to survive the season. No matter how quickly they tried to gather nuts and seeds, the darkness covered them and stopped all their efforts. On such a day Squirrel decided that something had to be done. Her first stop would be a visit to her friends the field mice.

“Oh, we do not know what to do,” said Father Mouse. “We have so many children to feed, and the winter nights are so long and dark.”

“I will help you my little friends,” Squirrel replied.

Next Squirrel went to see Porcupine to ask him if he too had been having trouble finding food during the long dark winter.

“Oh, yes,” said Porcupine,“ nothing can be done it has always been this way.”

“I don’t believe that,” said Squirrel. “There must be something that can be done.”

“It’s best to leave things as they are for you never know what could happen if you try and change things,” said Porcupine. With a bristle of quills, he scurried off through wintery wind and snow.

Squirrel sat and thought for a bit and then decided to seek out Owl. Owl rested by day and flew the woods at night, with eyes bigger than all the other animals. Perhaps Owl would know a way to bring light to the winter forest.

Squirrel climbed high in Owl’s maple tree and waited for Owl to wake.

“What brings you to me Squirrel?” asked Owl.

“All of the small woodland animals need to hunt by darkness as well as day. The northern winter nights are far too dark for us. If we could only find a little light to help us see we could gather our food with ease”

Owl agreed to ponder on this problem. He lifted his feathery head and then buried it into his shoulders to think. He thought all day long, while Squirrel shivered on the windy branch. Finally, he startled with thought, “I will talk to the Sky Father and see if he can bring the stars closer to us during the winter time.”

Squirrel flicked her tail in excitement and hope as she raced down the tree to her spot in the woods. A few days went by and then Owl flew in and landed at Squirrel’s burrow.

“Tell our small friends that the Sky Father has decided he will bring the stars closer to us at night. But first, he must clear all the clouds from the sky. We must all prepare for a strong and terrible blizzard.” With that said, Owl flew off to his tree.

All the animals worked as quickly as they could to forage all the nuts, berries and seeds that they found. Then they gathered and huddled in a hollow log and watched as the huge storm clouds gathered in the sky above.

For three days the Sky Father gathered the storm clouds in the sky, stacking them in huge towers. The animals shivered below, waiting. On the third day, the storm arrived. The blizzard howled through the woods. The animals were frightened, all except Squirrel for she believed in what Owl had promised.
When the storm died away, a huge snowdrift had blocked the hollow log so that the animals could see nothing but the wall of snow and the darkness from inside the hollow space. They were scared and disappointed, thinking that only hunger and darkness awaited them.

Brave Little Squirrel made her way through all her friends and turned to them, “Wait here, I will tunnel out and see if the stars are closer as the Great Sky Father promised.”

Squirrel dug and dug, pushing through the cold and wet snow finally reaching the top. When her head popped out through the snow, she gasped in surprise. The winter stars hung so low in the evening sky, it seemed that she could almost touch them.

A large, antlered moose stepped forward and bowed his head, “I have been sent to help you, if you little animals can gather all the snow you can and push it into a giant snowball, I will then carry it cradled in my antlers across the highest mountain ridges, where it will shed light on even the darkest winter nights.”

So they all worked together with the help of the moose and the Sky Father to create the first Snow Moon. Now despite the cold and the long nights of darkness, all are happy in the winter when the stars come close and the moon shines bright like great snowball in the sky.

Angry???Mad???Pissed Off???Out of Sorts??? We Are Allowed!

I was talking to little Brother Nick Fox https://www.facebook.com/nickfoxlove/ last night and we were discussing anger… and if I am being honest with you all I have been very angry over the past year, and that is okay because as I move through my human journey and work at healing my body, it does not always keep up with where my mind and soul want to be.

This is key for all of us that struggle with issues in our lives that arise and do not fit with our plans. We do not plan to loose a job, we do not plan to become sick, we do not plan to not be able to pay bills, we do not plan on relationships breaking down or any other thing that negatively impacts us for short or long term. Pain comes in many forms, physical, mental, spiritual… and pushing though it is often a difficult thing. It is also something that we need to remember if we need help with we need to reach out and ask for that help.

Life isn’t always easy and I do not think it was actually meant to be, for without the ups and downs we would not grow or learn how to be our best selves. As Nickie said to me… “It makes us think outside our normal constraints, it makes us realize how simply beautiful life is.” To which I replied that I could do without all the shit that piled up and is making me shovel out of in order to figure my path out again.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am truly blessed with many things… I am grateful for many things and people that are in my life… and it is not a pity party that I am wanting or speaking to, it is simply a right that we all have to be angry or pissed off about things that have not worked out. Why you might say, because it is then my opportunity to become better at things in the future. Or perhaps appreciate the things that show up down the road for me in a better way.

So we have to learn that not everything is positive, but if we bottle it up it does not help us to heal. It needs to be acknowledged so we can better understand what we need to do in order to get our path managed again, ourselves healthy again. It doesn’t matter if it is physically better, mentally better or spiritually better… it simple means we need to find balance in our lives the best way that we are able.

I went to see my Doctor last Friday… and when we discussed the nerve pain I was experiencing and he stated that I wouldn’t know for sure for probably another year and a half if it would mend its self… I told him I didn’t like him very much in that moment. He laughed and said you just have to keep pushing through it all. So that is what I have to do, don’t have a choice. There will be some days that I will be cranky as hell… other days that perhaps I will want to escape and curl up in a ball. But in acknowledging that I am releasing some of the control it has on me. It will help me to reach Happy, healthy and whole. Just as I hope all of you experiencing bumps or diversions on your hill come to realize… none of us are alone in this we just have to reach out if we need to for a shoulder, an ear or a friend remembering that if we are Angry???Mad???Pissed Off???Out of Sorts??? We Are Allowed!

So perhaps look at yourself today and count your blessings, or lend an ear or a shoulder… or ask for someone to listen to your frustrations knowing that we all have been there before at one point or another and perhaps in doing so we will make our day and another persons a little better.

Blessings to you All.

Seize the Day and Make it Your Own!

Tiger drops by today to say Seize the Day and Manifest whatever it is you set your sights on! The energy that is swirling about today will support your goals…so why are you sitting and not moving forward? Get off your butts and do what it takes. Be creative!!! Be insightful!!! Be anything you want to be no holds barred… just embrace you and do it!

Tiger reminds us we need to embrace and take advantage when opportunity presents it self. Do not shy away from opportunities rather grab hold or better yet make your own! Believe me I understand that sometimes that is easier said than done. Often we are left with the feeling of not wanting to step out of bed, rather wanting to stay under those cozy comforters…after all think about that blankets name COMFORTER. But that does not make the hard stuff go away. So we need to learn to push through it, understanding that there are millions of others out in the world going through the same thing.

So today enjoy the supporting energies and Own the Day…Seize the Day and make it a positive outcome for yourself!

Tiger teaches us to utilize persistence and patience as we look to manifesting our dreams and goals. By walking with the right steps, in positive and meaningful ways we will accomplish what we have set out to do or be. They show us that through honoring the power we all hold within and utilizing that energy and respect… All things are possible and what the world has to share is limitless. Use your instincts, emotion and feelings to help guide you. Rely on what the inner voice the Tiger within is sharing with you…

Tiger teaches us that we have personal strength that we can tap in to. It is that primal force that we are all born with, that will show us the way to step into and through situations with confidence enabling us to walk over the obstacles we may face. Tiger spirit will help us to overcome fears we may be holding onto, teaching us how to release them and turn them into positives. Temper the anger, control the fear thus achieving a balance.

Tiger shares Prowess and walks into our lives when we need to stand in our own truths with grace and respect, but know with that should be the balance of respect returned. We are all connected, we all imprint, so watch how words flow and actions play out for they in turn will open more doors of positives for you if executed in proper fashion.

I am bear Medicinewalker and I am dedicated to Educating and sharing the lessons, teachings and culture I have been taught by my Elders and journey with the World. It is not enough merely to learn the ways of our Elders. We must honor those traditions by sharing and educating the World. Inspiring others …Inspiring our Youth. Through the Music… the Arts…the stories…”

Slow Down… What, Wait, What???

So today Hummingbird flipped from the deck bringing with it a message many of us in today’s world don’t listen to or head… SLOW DOWN! We are not stopping long enough to actually hear each other. We are moving through life so fast it is almost robotic. In doing so we are missing out on the true gifts around us that life shares.

One of those things is nurturing and caring for self! OMG can you believe that? STOP… SLOW DOWN… so your body can rest, rejuvenate, revitalize so it can remain healthy and in balance in order to be our best selves.

Hummingbirds are the gentle reminders of the in-between. Darting quickly here and there, experiencing life to the fullest. They are also wonderful examples of how to best utilize that energy, showing us there is time for everything… work… play… and most important of all rest.

The world pushes and pushes us each moment, sometimes so much it causes a negative outcome… that is when we need to recall the lesson of the Hummingbird the most, listen to the “Spirit World” as they whisper in our minds to slow down the pace… slow down the emotional that is racing through our systems and remember to Breathe!

With all the energy that has been swirling around us all, it is no surprise that the Hummingbird stops in today to share messages with us! Many of us out there have been experiencing all kinds of craziness and major energy shifts, it seems to be the nature of the world we live in lately. These shifts are often happening faster and sometimes moment to moment and causing us all to be a bit off balance (or at least to feel like we are on a boat that is rolling with the water as we try to regain our footing!  So we need to remind ourselves when this occurs to stop…take a breathe before we take another motion forward, rest a bit and save our energy.

So many negatives in our world today, and many we are not in control of. So the best thing that we can do is to control how we react to it all. Calm our minds, say a prayer or send out positive thoughts and try to keep our heads above it all. If we can manage that…we will be surprised just how many good things will occur in the ripple outwards.

Hummingbird, symbol of resurrection, rebirth as they live each day and as the blanket of night spreads over the lands, these little birds become lifeless and appear to die. As Father Sun begins to awaken the world, his warmth touches the tiny wings and this little bird once again rises to the tasks of the day. Teaching us there is time for work and then we must have time to rest in order to revitalize our souls, our bodies and our minds.

Hummingbird brings the lesson of Joy with them, teaching us to remember the Sacredness of all life and how fragile it is. To remind us we must keep our Sacred Hoops in balance and honor our paths by remembering to slow down at times to feed, to gather strength and energy. To move in positives to attain our dreams and goals but do it in efficient ways, smart ways, thought out ways. Hummingbirds do not walk or hop, their feet are tiny and do not function as other birds, this is so they can be more efficient than other birds at their tasks. So with them they bring efficiency and teach us adaptability as well.

Hummingbirds show themselves when it is time to live your dreams in Joy and Happiness, understanding that the Universe, Creator God and the Ancestors are there to help us all, but you have to have Faith that it will come to pass.

“I am Dedicated to Educating and sharing the culture with the World. It is not enough merely to teach the ways of our Elders. We must honor those traditions by sharing and educating the World. Inspiring others …Inspiring our Youth. Through the Music… the Arts…the stories…”
Many Blessings to ya’ll
