Well today I am Giving you a glimpse into this years upcoming cards to add to the deck! And in Honor of the work at The Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Rwanda, I thought we should take a closer look at these amazing Creatures!
The Majestic Gorilla teaches us about Strength, Nobility, Generosity. A Gorilla totem represents the work we do to reach our goals is solid. They teach us how to ground ourselves and that we need to be responsible for our choices. Gorilla assist is by reminding us of the strength we each have within, the honor in living a positive life and that we need to remember to care for our the people within our life circles.
So today the Gorilla reminds us to do just that, care for ourselves, our needs and actions to make sure we are doing it in an honorable way. Make sure we touch base with our inner circles and a bit beyond, for it is in each of us to create positives in the world we live in!
The Gorilla teaches us about stepping up and leading not aggressively, rather in a gentle caring way with compassion. Teaching us that it is nit with aggression, bullying or violence that will help others to understand. The Gorilla also teaches us that those that try to lead with force and negativity will never gain respect.
“I am Dedicated to Educating and sharing Culture with the World. It is not enough merely to teach the ways of our Elders. We must honor those traditions by sharing and educating the World. Inspiring others …Inspiring our Youth. Through the Music… the Arts…the stories… WE All need to become pro active in saving our planet, the creatures that live upon it, and each other!”
Many Blessings of the Day

THE ELLEN FUND
“For my 60th birthday, Portia surprised me with the most incredible birthday gift I’ve ever received: A campus with my name on it at The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. The campus will help continue Dian’s work to protect and study endangered mountain gorillas. Gorillas are amazing animals. I found out that gorillas and humans share 98 percent of the same DNA. But the thing that’s most amazing about gorillas is how compassionate they are. And here’s the sad part. They’re one of the most endangered animals in the world.
