Today is all about self reliance and getting to the truth of the matter…the TRUTH of Self! We need to stop trying to fool ourselves into thinking things that no longer are positives in our lives, will change for the better. We need to simply understand that sometimes things don’t work out the way we would like them to, so we need to take the lesson and use it to set more positive and sure footed steps as we walk our days in the moments ahead of us. The path is clear unless we choose to drag those negatives forward and clutter it all up.
This does not mean that things from our past are bad… it simply means that we can not change them, we can only change how we will react to similar things/ people/situations in the future. So be like the Ram and step boldly with sure footing while you walk the ledge on those cliffs we put ourselves on!
The Ram speaks to us of following our own truths, our souls journey and thinking outside the box. To take steps onto new paths and directions when called to but also to remember one must attain balance to do so, balance that occurs from respecting and honoring the Sacred, whether it refers to self or the Sacred around us. This will allow us to move freely and give us the ability to be our true self. The Ram reminds us that having clear honest thoughts and insight will make us stronger beings of integrity. To not be afraid of what we find by looking in the mirrored image of ourselves, for we are human and with that said means we are all flawed.
It also teaches us that we can be tough when needed showing strength and skill at maneuvering through the obstacles thrown at us, but other times we need to remain in our spot to take care of what is needed with the highest of integrity. Look at self and answer with truth… are you really working for your highest good, or are you slipping and sliding through things not stopping to take that moment to be responsible and own your actions?
The choice is yours, but the Ram will guide us through it all, with head bent down hammering through the tough stuff to get us to that balanced spot on our ledge.

Dear Bear:
It is funny that you pulled out the RAM card this morning. There was a governmental cabinet shuffle in my province this morning and I am more and more tempted to write to the new Minister of Employment as well as to the Minister of Diversity to give them an earful about the changes that need to be brought about to help competent, determined business- experienced, handicapped people like me who want to find employment while they are beating a dead horse by trying to persuade the young kids with no skills who have refused to take courses or look for work for years (if not decades), or can’t find any from lack of business experience. I also want to bring to their attention the nationwide personal and business prejudices and discrimination thrown in our faces when we handicapped people step outside our homes and go for job interviews and that it is high time we “clean out” our province’s collective brain to rid it of ignorance against the handicapped. Yep, I feel quite like a RAM today. Nothing will change if I and they refuse to face and tackle the very real daily problems we face in looking for work. I have been thinking about this for a while, and this morning I’m chomping at the bit to get things started. I figure the worst that can happen is they throw my letter in a trash bin. I can always write other letters until one of them listens to me.
Wado for this blog and showing the RAM card. I think it’s a sign that I should go ahead with my plan. Time to rattle some government cages.
Blessings to you and yours. Aho.
