a Lil’ Ramble with a bear

A collection of thoughts from a Lil’ bear… perhaps they will stop and make you think, or perhaps they will simply put a smile to your face. Either or it is a connection of sharing and being in that moment with you. Many Blessings today and beyond to you all!

So You Want to be a Spiritual Teacher….
Well sometimes that means knowing when it is time to hunker down and simply be. Guarding your soul, listening to what Creator God, the Universe and “Spirit” are teaching, whispering and showing you.

Sometimes it means being silent and imprinting by behavior rather than words… teaching that it is a good thing and not a selfish thing to take care of self and feed our own souls so that we will be prepared and ready when we are needed.

Sometimes it’s simply a good thing to stop, take a breath and be…
Wishing you all the happiness of the day.

So you want to be a Spiritual Teacher… Then let’s start out with tending a huge wound from a deadly disease.

There is an epidemic that is running rampant on social media, on the news, and yes all around I suppose in the world we live in. It is a very ugly epidemic… and some days it seems like there is no cure for it, especially when we can look and see multiple people affected by it within minutes, seconds even. It spreads so quickly that it affects the heart and mind of even the strongest people. Many have fallen to it, and some even feel the side effects may be worse, for it leaves deep rooted scars that sometimes can’t be erased.

It is one of the fastest, ugliest diseases I have ever witnessed… It causes prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior. Yup you guessed it it is called Racism. Just thinking about those it has affected makes my stomach churn.

I have watched it, been a victim of it, seen it destroy and change beautiful people into ugly ones. I have seen some of the best Spiritual People fall victim to its prey. I have seen people not take responsibility for their own choices and blame it on the disease itself… But mind you it is a Choice! We are all capable of deciding to take a different path than one that can harm and violence simply by words that often lead to destruction.

No matter what color our skin is, what culture we come from, what language we speak, we are all individuals that have our own minds. With those minds we are given choice… to hate, to love, to be strong or give in to the disease. Each of us has the power, the choice to stop it’s spread dead in it’s tracks by not being part of the problem but part of the solution. Let us lead by example in positives not negatives.

Realize the world is made up of all kinds of people, each uniquely crafted and different from the next. However remember that it doesn’t matter the color of your skin, the family you were part of, the religion you were raised in, the place that you lived… we are all no better than or less than one another. There are bad people and there are good people, and all people imprint on the youth that are in our world.

So when you see things happen, or you decide to challenge something based on race, culture etc., make sure you are doing it for the right reasons and guard yourself from spreading the disease. Don’t be someone who just jumps on the bandwagon because the rest of the sheep are doing it. And know that this disease does not discriminate unlike humans… it will seek you out regardless of who, where, when or how you came about, and if it does catch and infect you, it will destroy a little bit of your soul every time it takes hold.

So you wanna be a Spiritual Teacher… then put on your flack vest and get ready to do battle against one of the strongest diseases known to man… Racism. Step out into the world and shine some healing light on to it and lets make this world a little better place to live by starting within ourselves.

Many Blessings,

So you want to be a Spiritual Teacher…
Okay so all the doubt, the worries that you keep asking yourself over and over in your head… Am I good enough? Do I know enough? How do I know if I should charge? How do I….?

Well the first thing is we all have had those questions and more. And guess what there is absolutely no single right or wrong answer. What we do isn’t text book ready… although we can learn by example, each of us will have our own unique signature of how we do our work! And that is okay… I have sought out mentors and teachers most of my life, whether it was for artwork or healing/psychic/mediumship work.

I have learned something from All of them…the main thing is that I am like them yet different from each of them. It gives a person confidence to share the gift Creator gave us. Honestly if people could hear some of the messages and people from the “Spirit” world we deal with, we would all probably have a white jacket and padded room waiting for us all. HAHAHHAHA, but seriously…there is no one right way to know where/when to begin your work other than when it is time.

“Spirit” undoubtedly gives us the nudge… then we will work to hone what and how we do things. If you are doing this work, Listening to the Ancestors, to Creator God and allowing them to guide you in positives, if you are able to set ego down, if you are able to be honest, humble and share love without judging others when working with clients and people… you will be doing the most fulfilling work you will ever do…

If you do it dishonestly, with ego involved, with judgement involved… it will be balanced out by the Universe make no nevermind about it… and that in itself should keep you on the correct path.

So go out and work the magic and gifts that you were born with… Follow the teachings of the Grandfathers and Grandmothers… and begin the journey! The only thing stopping you is self!

Blessings to All

So you wanna be a Spiritual Teacher…
With this comes the responsibility to keep ourselves in balance. To remember that as a Teacher we are also a student walking a journey of learning, evolving and changing.

It is often much easier to jump on the Negativity Train and move down the tracks with all the crap that is out there in the world today…and believe me there is plenty of it out there. Hateful words, lost ideals, lack of compassion, Bigotry and the list grows each and every day. It’s a hard to step away from it all sometimes since it is everywhere we turn.

The thing to remember and hold strong to is our foundations, the core of who we are. The 7 Grandfather Teachings which translate into most cultures in a similar way. Core Truths that should be with every human being as a good way to walk…

“Humility, Wisdom, Truth, Courage, Honesty, Respect and Love.” The things that are able to bring peace and calm not only to our own souls, but to the world around us.

So take a moment to reflect on them, see if they are indeed working and balanced in your own lives… if you need to take time to re-balance some of them, do it! For you owe it to self to live in harmony within your Sacred Hoop… and by doing so your actions will imprint and teach others to do the same…

May the Grace of the Ancestors Bless You All…

We need to understand that we don’t get unlimited chances to have the things that we want, that opportunities come and go and nothing, nothing is more frustrating than realizing you didn’t reach out and grab an opportunity that could have changed your life.

So set aside fears by reaching out to embrace your dreams and the opportunities Life drops on our paths. Change is always occurring so let’s see where it will take us today!

May Blessings large and small fill your day and week!

So you wanna be a Spiritual Teacher well then remember that teaching begins within our own family circles. We need to learn compassion and understanding within our Own Sacred Hoops first. It is not enough to speak words, for they will become meaningless unless they are practiced as well as preached.

Forgiveness needs to happen when we say we forgive. Holding on to it and still harboring the anger teaches others that view us to loose faith in not only the teachings but in trust itself. Words can be soft and gentle and transform things from negatives into positives … or they can be like a sword and divide and destroy.

Think about it…and then choose your words wisely.

We are all taught early on to think we’re going to be amazing, and when we get older we sometimes feel a little cheated when expectations we have put out or others have placed upon us aren’t met. At other times our expectations really don’t pan out at all. Sometimes the expectations don’t even compare to the unexpected that shows up on our front doors.

Why is it that we cling to those grand expectations. Is it because its our plan??? Or is it what we need to tell ourselves to keep us moving forward??? Does it keep us motivated???What we feel we have to achieve because of expectations others have put on our shoulders?

Well maybe, however I think we need to look at it from a different perspective and that the unexpected is what is most important for ALL of us…because it is what brings about the changes our lives that we need to grow as human!

Blessings to All this day and beyond…

Gratitude…. Appreciation…. Being Thankful. Whatever words we use it all boils down to the same thing. “Being Happy” We’re supposed to be happy at least that’s what we are brought up to believe. To be Thankful for family and friends, happy for being alive to experience life itself… whether we like it or not.

Maybe we’re not supposed to be happy. Maybe being grateful has nothing to do with it. Perhaps being grateful means we need to recognize what we have simply for what it is. Appreciating all the little things. Honoring and appreciating the struggle it takes just to be human. Perhaps we should be thankful for the familiar things we know and for the things we’ll never know.

Then at the end of our day, the fact that we have the courage to still stand… is reason enough to be Thankful.

Faith can be funny at times, it can pop up when we don’t really expect it. It’s like one day we realize that the fairy tale we hold tight to might just be slightly different than what we hoped it would be. The castle, well, it may not be a castle at all. We wake up and realize that happily ever after may just not be that important in reality, just that its happy right now. See once in a blue moon, people well they can surprise us and once in a while people and the good things that they choose to do may even take our breath away.

Today… perhaps have a little Faith… or better yet be that person that helps take someones breath away 😉

Have a great Weekend everyone!
